After experiencing problems with re manufactured ink cartridges, I purchased the HP brand cartridges on May 22. These cartridges worked well for about two weeks before my Photosmart D110 again stopped cooperating. The display on my printer reads ” At least one of the Cartridges has a problem”. I have followed the instructions found on HP forums that suggest cleaning the contacts with deionized water, powering off the unit, etc. without resolving the issue. At this point, I am unsure of what else to do. HP forums suggest that this is a somewhat common issue for the HP Photosmart D110.

Both the tricolor and black cartridge run out of ink too fast. I will order the XL next time which are too expensive and hope that they will last long enough to warrant paying the extra price. As soon as I can I will try to find a photo printer that has larger cartridges standard.
