   I used up 3 color cartridges to print out 20 sheets of pictures. It also did not catch the true color of the pictures. I love the machine but it’s so scary to use when I have to print anything in color.

   I purchased the tri-color cartridge on 06/11/12. You can imagine my disappointment when the 300 page yield ran out by 06/17/12! All online sources were “Out of Stock”. Had to wait a day or two to order.

   I have usually used HP ink cartridges with good results. The printer I used them on is of astounding age for a printer, several years. (Model etc.: HP Officejet 4500 g510g-m) However, the last color cartridge produced spotty results, beginning right after installation and continuing through several cleanings. The black cartridge is all right, so far.

    Color is excellent, printer is fast and reliable, but ink runs out much too fast–I printed 7 full color pages and perhaps 12 partial pages , and ran the color cartridge almost dry. I previously had a 3150 all-in-one and never had a problem like this. I would recommend that HP concentrate on this.

    I’ve never had a problem with this product and think it provides good performance with reasonable price. Note: I wish HP would change the color scheme of this web site to eliminate the black background with overlayed white text. This color scheme makes it difficult to print receipts, do Print Screen printing, etc without wasting lots of ink and getting poor quality prints.

    This cartridge works very well until it gums up, you have to use the darn thing every day or it will start streaking then you have to take it out and wash off the end for it to work again, way overpriced for the quality but other brands have the same problem so……………….
