The ink in the black and colored cartridges for this style doesn’t seem to last long. Especially the black. I had just bought a new one and barely used it and it ran out of ink. I wonder if it was old and dried up when I got it. The colored cartridge is decent but also runs out very fast. I don’t use my printer that much so I figured they would last a little longer than a few weeks but it seems to dry up or something. Unless they’re really only meant to print few sheets then run out. Cartridges aren’t cheap. They should be more efficient.

I got maybe 20 copies & only 10 of them were sharp, the remaining were brown not black, indicating that the ink was about gone. I know that the cartridges are small, but thought I would get more than 20 copies.

I have just purchased an HP Envy 4500 printer for documents and receipts and I am using the starter ink that came with printer and the combo pack is my backup when I run out but so far the ink does a great job and the colors are nice. For the price the combo ink is a good value. The printer is great as well.
