Just plug it in and you’re good to go. Have been using it now for about 3 weeks with no problem. Purchased this with a new laptop because I don’t like using the pad. Will definitely purchase another one for my desktop.

When using this mouse the cursor would sometimes skip or lag. In other words, when moving the mouse the cursor would not move, then a few seconds later it might move by jumping forward to the new position of the mouse. I thought it might be the mouse pad, so I bought a new mouse pad, but it did not make any difference. The same behavior continued. It was a shame, because it was otherwise a comfortable mouse.
