Print, scan, copy, and fax all from the 7855 while enjoying inexpensive and automatic ink ordering since the printer is ready for HP’s Instant Ink Program. Printing is of the highest quality with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. You can also enjoy improved productivity with ISO print speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 10 ppm in color. Automatic duplexing is available for two-sided printing and you can use either a 125-sheet main tray or 15-sheet photo tray depending on the type of media being used.
With USB 2.0, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE connectivity built-in you should find it incredibly easy to setup wherever you may want it. When networked, you can connect directly to the printer from a mobile device, making it easy to print photos right from your smartphone. For scanning, copying, and faxing, the 7855 is equipped with a 35-sheet 8.5 x 14″ ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed, both with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Additionally, the printer offers a 2.65″ touchscreen for intuitive control as well as a USB port and SD card slot for direct printing from and scanning to portable storage devices.

Bought this printer about 3 months ago and I’ve gone through 3 sets of ink cartridges. I don’t print much at all. I just printed 70 pages and it was out of ink mid way through the file. It also prints with lines through all the pictures, even after cleaning and recalibrating multiple times. I would return it if I could because its cost me more than the printer in ink and paper at this point.

Did the install myself, followed the steps, and when it downloaded updates for the printer (during install process) it caused my system to glitch. I was without my computer for 8 days and out $$$ while my tech attempted to fix the problem. He restored the system back to a date prior to date of this printer’s installation and had to do a lot of cleanup steps as well. Even with that, it did not fix all of the issues this printer’s installation caused to my system. The printer allows for wireless or usb cable connection; even though the printer is sitting right next to the computer, modem, and router, it will only scan one document and then when I try to scan the next document a few minutes later it tells me either that the printer (scanner) is in use and to try later, OR that the connection between computer and printer has dropped. This is a terrible product and has cost me a lot of time, money, and effort. It is so bad that I am going to switch to a MAC system after being a PC user/fan for many years because my PC system is permanently glitched by this printer’s installation issues. I don’t know how anyone can give this printer any stars.

I received new printer and it took 2 hours to get installed. Installation disc would have been a lot easier. Tried to print some photos (reason for purchase) and they came out to blurry to recognize. Now color cartridge is nearly empty Not a happy customer at all. Considering return for refund.

This is my third HP printer ever and the 2nd wireless printer I`ve installed. This model is superior in that it is Apple airprint-enabled and has a document feeder. This printer was by far one of the easiest external devices to setup. Out of the box, I was able to set it up in about 1/2 hour and was on my way to printing. I hooked it up to my laptop and the setup process was so simple and easy that even a kid could do it. The touchscreen is super easy to use. The only advice I would give to a user is to follow the instructions on the screen specially when it comes to installing the ink cartridges. The instructions are clear. You also have the option of watching an animated demonstration. It automatically aligns and calibrates the cartridges for you. Once you`ve added the printer to your computer, then you`re good to go. I was also able to print from my iPhone and from my laptop. Printer had no trouble connecting to my WiFi. Everything you need comes in the box. It also prints VERY fast – fastest of any inkjet I have had over the last 10 years. The printing quality is superb and even testing this on standard paper, the photographs looked crisp and professional. The scanner works fine for making copies of documents and for archiving photographs. Scanning gives you the option of saving it as a PDF to any of the computers you have attached. I have two wishes: that the cord was longer, that it came with a USB cable and the ink runs a little longer . I did notice that after printing few pictures, I`m already halfway through my color cartridge. The ink goes pretty quick, but the results are very nice. Overall, I am very happy with this printer. So far, NO paper jams! All in all, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a good home or small business printer.
