I try printing from my computer which is connected to the printer and it either does not print at all or prints in an hour from the time where I actually clicked the print button. Terrible product that doesnt even fulfill its basic functions.

This printer was easy to install once I realized that I was using the refills instead of the ink cartridges that were included in the packaging, they were in placed in the packing material. The printing is great. Great features.

Love having a printer that works. Completely wore out our previous hp printer. This new one works like a drezm

The scan feed is so slow compared to my previous HP and this is the current equivalent of it. Just clicking on the link to open the scan function is slow. The lid is made to be flush with the front of the machine which makes opening the cover for scanning not as easy. Do not know how these changes are decided.

I was sent a photo printer to test out and here are my thoughts on it. I thought the printer was awesome. The color quality was very vibrant and looks like I had them done at a photo lab. The feature I liked the most on the printer was the simple and easy to use touch screen. With most technology being touch screen, it was very easy to navigate. The booklet instructions were clear, but the actual machine walks you through all the steps to set it up. I was impressed with that feature, as some people aren`t that savvy when it comes to technology, so anyone can do it! As soon as I plugged it in, it was telling me step by step what I needed to do. It was easy to assemble, practically no assembly required except plugging it in, and inserting the ink cartridges. I haven`t used or had a photo printer personally, I always had my photos printed at a photo lab because I thought it would be too complicated to try to print at home. I was wrong. With this HP Envy Photo Printer, it makes it so easy to do it in the comfort of my home. The quality went above and beyond my expectations. I don`t have any complaints about this printer. It`s my new favorite toy!

Installed easily. Print quality is great. I’ve printed several photos (on HP photo media) they came out great. I found installing/replacing ink cartridges to be easier than on older HP ink jets.

The printer appears to work fine. But I gave it 2 stars because the automated setup is mess. I would recommend using a manual set-up rather than the automated set-up. Manual set-up works fine. Set the printer up in my home. Tried to use the automated set-up but had to switch to manual set-up due to numerous problems with the automated version found on 123.hp.com. I’ve been working with computers for the past 40 years. So I am not a novice. The set-up program appears not to have been tested prior to moving to production. I found endless loops, unclear instructions and malfunctioning procedures. For example, at some point the printer launched into a calibration routine and just sat there for 45 minutes to an hour in what appeared to be a loop showing 0% completed. I finally shut the printer off, unplugged it and restarted everything and the problem cleared up. Somebody needs to thoroughly test the automated setup to make sure it works as intended.

The printer sometimes decides not to print. Only by talking to the support person did I find out I have to disconnect back of printer from power source. Wait and then reconnect to have it start printing again. This has happened twice in the last few weeks. Not happy about this AT ALL!

Struggled to pick a new printer but glad I chose this one.

The model 7855 appears to be a slightly larger, more expensive version of the model 4630 with a few subtle differences. Unfortunately, our model 4630 that it replaced simply died after just 6 years of minimal use (less than 50 pages per month). The design features for both printers are perfect. Hopefully this printer will hold up better than it’s predecessor.

I love my HP printers. I owned another prior to this one. I print so much for my child care home. I love the the touch screen option. Set up is fast and quick. Can print from the HP app. I save soooo much money with Instant INK!! Never runs out, ink ships right to my house. Printer notifies HP when I’m low. And bam ink is on the way. I fax a lot so this option was a must for me. You can scan to emails but I’m old school. I love to just shove in the automatic feeder and fax. Over all I will never buy another brand.

I bought the ENVY 7855 to replace another model HP all in one machine. The ENVY is slow and the touch screen has no sensitivity. Even using a stylus is not much better Big mistake

Just was a little surprised that I did so little printing when it told me ink was running low.

First, the prints take forever to come out and then it’s full of lines already (our printer is new we have had it less than 5 months) . The ink was used up very quickly . we put new cartridges in and it’s a disaster. it was not easy to set up. weird to operate. this printer is a joke . do not buy

I needed two special tech people to get it to print wireless. The directions were sorely lacking in simplicity. I have had a number of HP printers over many years, but the directions this time were the worst. Thank goodness it now works. And yes I read the directions that came with the printer.
