Outfit your home with a single device to take care of all your needs by picking up the ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Inkjet Printer from HP. Print, scan, copy, and fax all from the 7855 while enjoying inexpensive and automatic ink ordering since the printer is ready for HP’s Instant Ink Program. Printing is of the highest quality with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. You can also enjoy improved productivity with ISO print speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 10 ppm in color. Automatic duplexing is available for two-sided printing and you can use either a 125-sheet main tray or 15-sheet photo tray depending on the type of media being used.
With USB 2.0, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE connectivity built-in you should find it incredibly easy to setup wherever you may want it. When networked, you can connect directly to the printer from a mobile device, making it easy to print photos right from your smartphone. For scanning, copying, and faxing, the 7855 is equipped with a 35-sheet 8.5 x 14″ ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed, both with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Additionally, the printer offers a 2.65″ touchscreen for intuitive control as well as a USB port and SD card slot for direct printing from and scanning to portable storage devices.

I bought my Envy 7855 about a month ago. I have printed some photos which have turned out quite nice, but mostly I am using it to print out tax forms. This printer churns out the black and white pages very quickly, and is quiet while it prints. It fits nicely in the limited amount of space I have for a printer.

This printer replaced an older HP printer, that was much larger, and took up too much room on my desk. The set-up was very easy and I was ready to use it in less than 30 minutes after opening the box. Print quality on text is excellent, but I haven’t tried it on color photos yet, but will do so shortly. It is fast, and quiet. Via wi-fi, I have it synced with my laptop and cell phone, but use a cable connection to my desktop computer. I have used HP printers for several years (ever since the early 1990s) and have never had any issues with any of them. For the price, you can’t beat this one. th

Not so easy to use. I wanted to print envelop for the first time and unfortunately the tray keeps giving me error message, “please check selected size” until I figure it out that I cannot select the specific tray instead of automatic.

Instead of a printed user’s manual H-P has provided an app, a web site and printed enigmatic images. The printed material accompanying the printer has images only, are not accompanied with text. “What are you trying to tell me?” I thought. I haven’t found any utility in the app. Setting up a new printer has never been this hard, and I already have two H-P printers and a Canon ink jet.

Honestly, I have not opened the printer yet. It is a Christmas present. I know if I did not get it now, I would never get one around in November. When I go to various store looking for an HP printer, they are sold out. I understand that they are selling gazillions of them because all the kids are being home-schooled right now. So, when I did send for this, I knew I had at least one gift bought. Not sure if the warranty will lose out 2 months while in the box or if I can send the warranty right in after it i opened on Christmas Day. You cannot not go wrong with a HP printer. I personally think, they are the best.

Bought your top on the line Envy to replace our 6 year old Envy. The replacement looks like it came from a time machine 10 years in the past. Technology is supposed to get more compact not double in size. Even the screen looks way cheaper. Did you lose your best product designers or something? This product does not deserve the Envy name.

When I received my HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-In-One Printer I made arrangements to have the FAX line installed within six days. Once the technician came and installed and programmed my printer I had two of my relatives come over and check it out. The very next day they asked if they could use my fax machine to send their time sheets because our local library was closed. I could not have received my printer/fax machine at a more opportune time. What a life-saver! The copies and prints are outstanding! The colors are very impressive. I have never been happier and more satisfied with any printer as this one!

I always worry about getting any electronics set up and working, I’m not a tech nerd! This was so simple! Just plugging it in and adding WiFi password, inserting ink and plugging in fax line and wow! All functions working perfectly!
