I have used other brands of printers over the years but I always come back to HP. At the moment I am using a HP Laptop and a HP ENVE Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer that I am VERY happy with. The quality is actually as advertised.

Because my old HP printer became obsolete and I desperately needed a printer, this one was suggested. I’m certainly not unhappy with it. However, being 84 years old, new equipment is difficult for me to understand quickly. If I can’t figure simething out, I will certainly call HP for tech help. I was shocked by some of its unique potentials!

I can’t give a review because I just received the printer and it doesn’t work.

I have had no problems with the 7855, very good features. I would have liked a complete printed instruction booklet.

I bought this printer a couple weeks ago and am pleased with it. While I do not print a lot of photos the pics I have are really sharp and clear. This printer is about 2/3 the size of my old one which is nice in itself. Don’t know about high vol printing but for reg document and occasional photo it does well.

I received this Friday the 28th of August 2020. I was frustrated by the fact no Driver CD Software was included. The Set Up required a Download of an “APP” from HP. The lack of documentation was my next frustration. The wording in the instructions were confusing. The Printer is “Automatically” set for “Secured” mode, when the WiFi “sees” the Printer it requests a “PIN” or a “Password Key” . Neither of these requests make sense. What ever “PIN” it wants, I have no Clue regarding. Whatever “Password Key” its requesting is equally Meaningless. So I printout the “Web Access Test Results” found on the Printer’s Touch Screen Options. Also Meaningless, since it offers no Clue to the where these requested “Codes” are found. So I discover, because its not in the “Very Limited” Owners Manual Instructions, the Touch Screen can be “Scrolled Down” to see other options – Well lo-n-behold there is a “WiFi Direct Password (Actually it’s Numbers) but on the Screen it’s called a “Password” – so at the “Network Internet Settings” on my “Windows 10” bottom bar, for active Icons (etc) I type in “the WiFi Direct Password (8-numbers, not a “Word”) at the “Password Key” space, and the HP Printer accepts these “numbers” and “connects to the WiFi” Router. HOPE THIS HELPS OTHERS

My old Canon printer had died. I chose this to replace it and so far, I am very happy with it.

The only feature I found that is missing for me is double sided copy. I can single to double or single to single; no double to double. I have to make them manually.

Set up was very easy, print quality is great for documents and photo.

Just bought my ENVY Photo 7855 about a week ago, replacing my old PhotoSmart 7520, and I’m really glad I did. It’s easier/better designed, faster, and I’m loving the Instant Ink program is far, even though I went over my limit by printing out 2 copies of the entire script of HAMILTON. ‘ -] I ordinarily don’t print such big jobs, so I’m unconcerned, and I also think it’s going to make the ink maintenance a no-brained … no shopping, no running out. If this printer proves to be even nearly as good as my PhotoSmart 7520 (and it certainly seems to be), I will be very happy – and happily recommend it to others.
