I purchased the ENVY photo 7855 today with the intent of printing pictures from Christmas to send to family as my kids opened their gifts since covid kept all families apart this year. I was very disappointed after printing 2 photos both coming out with borders. After researching for more than 2 hours and everything I read said this printer does borderless photos and its a setting in the print preferences and not having the option. Very disappointed. will be returning and getting another Canon Printer

This printer has been a better experience than a previous purchase which was returned. The set-up was easier, print quality is great. Great purchase

The scanner is worthless. It work great as a printer or a copier, but not as a scanner because the software is too simple to be useful.

Printer is HP Envy Photo 7855 has sleek appearance. Is smaller than the HP OfficeJet Pro but very efficient. Some issue with paper feed. Like speed and print quality.

I wore my first HP printer out in less than four years…I use it often for pictures, cards, crafts, etc. It does does an excellent job for me, and my favorite part is Instant Ink. I hesitated at first, then I found it actually cost less to use Instant Ink. You never run out, or have to make a mad dash to buy more. When you replace a cartridge a replacement will soon be on the way.,

I just purchased this printer. I have had HP photo printers in the past and they have been great. However this one is not. I followed the directions and it said to calibrate. I did and a message came up “unsuccessful”. I tried several times but no success. I tried copying a picture and everything had a red tone while the original picture had no red. I tried printing from a document and it also came out red. The website is not helpful to solve these problems.

I just started using the HP Envy Photo 7855 about 1 -2 months ago and it stopped printing. My printing volume is very minimal (i.e. hardly use) and therefore should not expect the cartridges to be empty. There is no way to check the ink levels. If there is a way, it is impossible to find!

I’ve owned and used at least a dozen HP printers in my life. This is my second HP printer in the Envy series and I have to say, I’m not impressed with this one. Should have done more homework, but was swayed by the “Photo” in the name. The quality is okay, but what I really don’t like is that there is no borderless printing. And, I’ve never had a printer go through so much ink either. The automatic paper feed and scanner are fantastic though.
