I have owned several photo printers, my last two were HP Photo Smart printers, with which I had no complaints. I have had this printer for six months and it is the worst photo printer I have ever owned. The printer pulls the paper through in jerks and this causes lines across the photo image. This action does not seem to effect printed letter pages, only photo images. I would NOT recommend this printer if you plan to use it for photos. The attached photo was printed today after I inserted new HP print cartridges into the printer.

I bought another HP printer because I love the instant ink setup which is so convenient, but I had troubles with my new printer and it took me several hours before I could find a number to call to get the replacement parts I needed. There needs to be clearer directions on how to get help with new printer purchases.

I recently purchased this printer. It prints typical documents like expected. However when I needed to use not so typical prints it’s not intuitive at all. So when looking back thru the packet of documents and worthless disclaimers I realized that there were no user documents. All they tell you is to look online. I want a hard copy to refer to instead of trying to navigate thru the multitude of documents online that may not clearly describe what you’re looking for in the first place.

I purchased this 7855 Envy Photo Printer on Nov. 26, 2019, and it is performing well; it seems to be everything I need in a printer. So far, well pleased!

This printer was easy to install on both my Windows 7 and 10 computers using the installation prompts provided. The HP Smart app works well with both the Windows 10 and my Android phone in enabling the print functions. The secondary photo tray is a real plus for ease in the printing of photos. The printer’s dual band Wi-Fi capability is another great feature for printing efficiency. I would recommend this printer.

First unit I received was defective; replacement unit sent & cartridge was defective – many hours of tech spt to get it working & it still keeps dropping the wireless connection. Frustrating!

Had to have a technician install it using the HP web page. Drops the connection between the PC and printer. Then we get an error message or an off line message which we cannot deal with. Presently waiting for the technician to straighten it out again.

I bought this printer to replace my HP Photosmart 7520 Series printer. Was suppose to follow Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer control panel. Wasn’t able to enter the whole password for my router. Tried to enter a “o” and got an “i” could go back, but got no further than the 2nd incorrect letter. Therefore, I had to attach a USB cable from the printer to the computer to get the wireless connection and printed a test page and Printer Status Report. Looked like everything was fine as wireless indicator on printer was solid blue. However, when trying to print from Outlook, Word & Excel I received a Printer Offline indicator. Messed around with the online virtual assistant and finally got the printer to print. I found the printer control panel hard to use even with a stylus. Product came with very little literature and no software CD. I was thinking about returning the printer and purchasing something else. With the installation problems I had, I would not recommend this product to anyone. I hope it prints photos well.

I bought this printer when I moved my office home and needed a multi-function color printer. This printer was easy to set up and pair with my computer. Today I set up and used the scanner in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend this printer!

I was recently notified on Chromebook that my Canon Pixma would not work with Chromebook. In looking for printers HP Envy – not Canon and not Epson – seemed to popup on my Chromebook. This printer is working quite well. I can print and scan from Chromebook and my wife and print and scan from Windows 10. And does reasonably well from Moto phone and tablets.
