Print, scan, copy, and fax all from the 7855 while enjoying inexpensive and automatic ink ordering since the printer is ready for HP’s Instant Ink Program. Printing is of the highest quality with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. You can also enjoy improved productivity with ISO print speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 10 ppm in color. Automatic duplexing is available for two-sided printing and you can use either a 125-sheet main tray or 15-sheet photo tray depending on the type of media being used.
With USB 2.0, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE connectivity built-in you should find it incredibly easy to setup wherever you may want it. When networked, you can connect directly to the printer from a mobile device, making it easy to print photos right from your smartphone. For scanning, copying, and faxing, the 7855 is equipped with a 35-sheet 8.5 x 14″ ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed, both with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Additionally, the printer offers a 2.65″ touchscreen for intuitive control as well as a USB port and SD card slot for direct printing from and scanning to portable storage devices.

My old HP ENVY 4500 shoot craps after 7 years so I purchased the 7800 series to replace it. Although I’ve not used all the features built into this machine it’s got all I need. I use it for business as well as personal dealings. I must say however that it took an enormous amount of time to get it up and running (over two hours). I’ve never had this much trouble installing a new device. Part of the problem was due to a language barrier and the fact that I wear hearing aids. I would have rated it a 5 if if hadn’t been for this. The procedure just seemed incredibly complicated.

Have a slight problem. Printer is loaded with paper; however each time I go to print it comes up on screen that paper is needed. Selecting continue and it prints. Real inconvenience.

Just finished setting up and pesting my new ENVY Photo 7855. Set up was very easy, and connecting to WIFi was a snap. It did all the work . My previous reply satted that I could not scan from the glasstop. After checking out all the features in HP Smart Ap, (like I should have done inthe first place) I found all the things are right there for you to select.There are many options which is a great help. I would recommend this printer to anyone. It has a lot of features for a great price, and the printing is excellent. Photos nearly match the photos that I process in Lightroom. That’s saying something. You have to really look closely. Great printer. Very happy with it. Lou G

Just received this last week. So far, so good! It’s very quiet and easy to use. The only problem I had with it was downloading the software from the site. I had to get HP Tech Support to do it. Otherwise, I love it. It is my 4th HP since 1995.
