Print, scan, copy, and fax all from the 7855 while enjoying inexpensive and automatic ink ordering since the printer is ready for HP’s Instant Ink Program. Printing is of the highest quality with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. You can also enjoy improved productivity with ISO print speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 10 ppm in color. Automatic duplexing is available for two-sided printing and you can use either a 125-sheet main tray or 15-sheet photo tray depending on the type of media being used.
With USB 2.0, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE connectivity built-in you should find it incredibly easy to setup wherever you may want it. When networked, you can connect directly to the printer from a mobile device, making it easy to print photos right from your smartphone. For scanning, copying, and faxing, the 7855 is equipped with a 35-sheet 8.5 x 14″ ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed, both with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Additionally, the printer offers a 2.65″ touchscreen for intuitive control as well as a USB port and SD card slot for direct printing from and scanning to portable storage devices.

This was my 2nd ENVY product that owned. First one was a 7600 series that I bought in Japan in the 2013. Returning to the US and in 2019 I wanted to upgrade to a newer ENVY 7800 series. Both ENVY series products were the best printers I ever owned, especially because the products “Instant Ink” program. HP monitors the pages that I print and provides me with replacement ink so I never run out. In Japan I couldn’t use the instant ink program, but once back in the states – you cannot beat it. I have never had problems with setting up the printer or installation of it for use on all my devices.

I make mini albums and like to print out various sizes of pictures and have good quality. It is replacing an older version of envy photo printer.

I’ve had so very many issues with this printer. I can’t recommend it at all. Despite using genuine HP cartridges, the print quality is terrible with blurry horizontal sections missing from my documents. Additionally, I typically cannot just leave this printer plugged in and print to it. If I try to do that, my computer will error saying that it cannot connect to the printer. It doesn’t even work if I power cycle the printer using the power button. It does seem to reset itself to the point where I can actually print things if I pull the power cord out of the back of the unit and plug it back in. Then for about 30mins, I can almost always print things succesfully.

So the best thing happened to me, getting this HP ENVY Photo printer! I had some other printer prior to getting this one but it fails in comparison to what this all-in-one series can do! My last printer did not give me the option to fax, or print with so many options, nor was my printer this smart. This product does everything well! I have already faxed a few documents, I have printed quality head shots for an upcoming film audition and passport pictures with this device. I was not expecting to be vowed by a printer but I really am impressed, because it`s so smart and so easy to use! The instructions are clear and easy to read. You get an HP App that walks you right through an effortless setup in less than 2 minutes! I cringed unplugging my old printer because setting up the WiFi was a daunting task. Overall, I`m extremely satisfied with the functionality of everything this device can do. HP you hit the ball out of the park on this one! I`m even going to join the instant Ink replacement service because it`s a good deal and additional savings since my printer is smart enough to send a signal to an App that I`m running low on ink and send it to me before I run out will be awesome.

I bought this new Envy 7855 printer a few weeks ago, along with 3 Care Pack – exchange program / warranty and instant Ink. I have so far only printed copies and test fax. It has many more features I haven’t tried yet, but it prints fast and works wireless. So far it’s a great printer.
