Print, scan, copy, and fax all from the 7855 while enjoying inexpensive and automatic ink ordering since the printer is ready for HP’s Instant Ink Program. Printing is of the highest quality with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. You can also enjoy improved productivity with ISO print speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 10 ppm in color. Automatic duplexing is available for two-sided printing and you can use either a 125-sheet main tray or 15-sheet photo tray depending on the type of media being used.
With USB 2.0, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE connectivity built-in you should find it incredibly easy to setup wherever you may want it. When networked, you can connect directly to the printer from a mobile device, making it easy to print photos right from your smartphone. For scanning, copying, and faxing, the 7855 is equipped with a 35-sheet 8.5 x 14″ ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed, both with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Additionally, the printer offers a 2.65″ touchscreen for intuitive control as well as a USB port and SD card slot for direct printing from and scanning to portable storage devices.

This is the third HP Envy All-in-One printer I have owned. I always get the extended warranty, and just print them to death, then get another. My loyalty to this brand should tell you a lot. They print beautiful photos, better than any other photo printer I have encountered. I do a lot of printing, and my Envy stands up to the task.

It rarely ever responds or works. This isn’t an internet issue, it’s the printer’s stupidity. It is also so obnoxiously loud for no reason. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want to lose your mind.

My boss bought this for my office. I’m the bookkeeper and do a LOT of printing, so this one isn’t quite right. It has a tiny paper tray and every time it runs out of paper it gets confused that the photo tray is empty (I never, ever use a photo tray). This morning it took 45 minutes to get it cleared, multiple times of turning it off and clearing the queue. Not a good choice for an office that prints or copies a lot, good for a little home printer for occasional stuff.

The main feature I enjoy about this printer is the two types of paper you can put in the printer at the same time. I can put in plain paper and photo paper at the same time. In terms of the overall printer itself, it works great, especially in reference to it having only two print cartridges as opposed to four like other HP printers. Thank you HP.

I’ve had this printer for one week, but have tried out almost all of the features including copying, printing photos, and scanning. Have not had the opportunity to try faxing. I had to download a scanning program from HP before using that feature, but otherwise I have been able to figure out how to use it. After installing HP software, I had to restart the computer to get the printer to recognize the computer wirelessly, despite WIFI being connected. Until then it indicated that printer was “Offline”, although everything else seemed to be working correctly. I don’t like that the Output Tray does not retract after printing, as it makes me feel like I might strip the gears on that feature by pushing it in manually. In general, I am happy with this product so far.

The installation process took an entire day and messed up our computers. We have three different computers and the installation process got hung up on every one. HP clearly only wanted to infect my computers with their software so they could make me miserable with unending pestering emails. After each computer had to be restarted we discovered that the drivers had been installed and we were able to print. We are sending this back.
