Print, scan, copy, and fax all from the 7855 while enjoying inexpensive and automatic ink ordering since the printer is ready for HP’s Instant Ink Program. Printing is of the highest quality with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. You can also enjoy improved productivity with ISO print speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 10 ppm in color. Automatic duplexing is available for two-sided printing and you can use either a 125-sheet main tray or 15-sheet photo tray depending on the type of media being used.
With USB 2.0, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE connectivity built-in you should find it incredibly easy to setup wherever you may want it. When networked, you can connect directly to the printer from a mobile device, making it easy to print photos right from your smartphone. For scanning, copying, and faxing, the 7855 is equipped with a 35-sheet 8.5 x 14″ ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed, both with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Additionally, the printer offers a 2.65″ touchscreen for intuitive control as well as a USB port and SD card slot for direct printing from and scanning to portable storage devices.

Bought in maybe a year back. Has multiple problems. 1) Stops in the middle of a print and says it had an error. Not what the error was/is. 2) Cannot find the remote PC. 3) Say it’s out of paper to one on two connect pcs. Had HP support fix it remotely. Worked for a while. Reinstalling the printer works for a while. I have 2 HP laptops and have been an HP lover…….IN THE PAST Had an HP 8620 before this piece of junk, and had no problems for many years, then the print head went. Cost $$$$ to replace, so I bought another printer. My advice is to look elsewhere. Lets see if this gets published.

I received this free printer and what a great printer it is! The instructions were easy to understand and I was able to connect the printer to my laptop, phone and other devices pretty quickly. I take a lot of pictures on my cell phone, so it`s great that I can print my favorite pictures directly from phone and have them within seconds. I received a photo printer last year (different brand) as a gift and the HP Envy photo 7855 is definitely better. The picture quality is shaper and my documents print faster. I haven`t used a fax machine in over a year, so it`s unlikely that I`ll use the fax feature on this printer. Most offices/clients/vendors I work with prefer scanning and emailing documents. Overall, it`s a quality printer. I would buy this printer for my niece who just started college and I would recommend this printer for a family with a home office who also wanted to print high quality pictures!

This color printer product is not as good as the burnt out one it replaced. The quality of print is better but it flies through ink cartridges like no tomorrow, and I’m no fan of the ink subscription since my needs are between their subscription levels. Additionally I don’t need a scanner (already have one) so that feature is wasted on me. Tray holds less paper. Printer holds less ink. Not an improvement – but does print much more reliably and vibrantly than the older model, so there’s that.

This is my second HP All-in-one printer. Compare to my old one (I used it for over 5 years) HP Envy 7855 is so much more advanced. First of all installation is literally plug and play as I decided to use this printer strictly for my mobile devices only . Step one is downloading HP Smart app and then using Bluetooth and location services to set it up with a printer ( you will also need to download hp printer plug in if you use Android platform ) Setting up is a breeze as assistant guides you and explains everything down to the smallest details so you know you are doing it right. Hp Smart app is simply amazing: possibilities are endless from printing picture from my phone to selecting picture from my social media or even personalizing it. Photo came out clear, vibrant and sharp I couldn`t be more pleased. One of my favorite features is SD card slot, which allows me to insert memory card from my digital camera directly into this printer , so no more hassle of transferring photos to my computer- they already in my printer , even organized in albums. Although photo printing is my favorite all other functions- copy scan and fax run just as smooth. I also found reatachable photo tray to be nice addition on securing photo paper and I can keep both – print and photo paper inside . Overall I am very pleased with this HP Envy 7855. It`s super easy to use and helps me to make sure my familie`s precious moments won`t be forgotten because they can be printed with just one click.

Not sure if I got a bad one or if all the issues can be resolved quickly but it may be going back. Won’t stay connected to wifi and the paper tray has an error message after each time you print, it says the tray is empty and you can’t proceed until you get it to recognize that there is paper in there. Very frustrating. I have unistalled it and also tried connecting via a usb cord. I hate to put this printer down because I have used nothing but HP for my computers and printers for years.

ii purchased the 7855 because my 7640 was not scanning clean copies. After an hour with the tech, it was determined that the best thing for me was to get the 7855. At first inital scans were great. However, today when I had to get an important packet of info out to 22 persons, the scanned copies looked like what was coming from the 7640, Namely a very distracting vertical line about 2 inches from the edge of the page coming down from top to bottom of the entire page
