Print, scan, copy, and fax all from the 7855 while enjoying inexpensive and automatic ink ordering since the printer is ready for HP’s Instant Ink Program. Printing is of the highest quality with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. You can also enjoy improved productivity with ISO print speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 10 ppm in color. Automatic duplexing is available for two-sided printing and you can use either a 125-sheet main tray or 15-sheet photo tray depending on the type of media being used.
With USB 2.0, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE connectivity built-in you should find it incredibly easy to setup wherever you may want it. When networked, you can connect directly to the printer from a mobile device, making it easy to print photos right from your smartphone. For scanning, copying, and faxing, the 7855 is equipped with a 35-sheet 8.5 x 14″ ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed, both with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Additionally, the printer offers a 2.65″ touchscreen for intuitive control as well as a USB port and SD card slot for direct printing from and scanning to portable storage devices.

Very nice photo printer and fax machine. A little on the loud side when first turning on but really no big deal. Easy set up with wireless laptop and phones and iPad. Love most things about this printer. Only issues are the ink program is confusing. I had to buy ink on my own since what came with it ran out really quickly, and although I had registered for the ink program I was going to have to wait longer than I wanted (without ink). Therefore I purchased on my own; then got emails saying that would mess things up. Still confused. Only other issue is similar to last HP printer – where it tells me to load photo paper when it’s already there… Last HP printer was horrible in this regard, and although it still happens with this one it’s no where near as often. Sorry to point out the issues, but truly overall this is working great for my needs.

I have purchased HP printers for the last 30 years. I had the 6800 series. The blue stopped working, so I was forced to buy another. I do like this model, it is just slower than what I was used to. I didn’t have a choice though. I needed a black unit to match my office. All the newer and faster printers were a white model. Please dont get me wrong. I do like the printer. I just felt I took a step backwards from a productivity stand point.

This printer is replacing the many Photosmarts that I had over the years. Just wish it came with individual color ink cartridges so I didn’t have to replace ink so often. Also, wish it came in white.

I’ve only used my printer a couple of times so I haven’t used it to its full capacity but so far the photos I’m printing are coming out beautiful. At this time I’m only printing from my phone and I’ve been a little confused about changing the settings…the first set were only 4×6 and now I’m stuck on 8×10 and there isn’t even a setting for 8×10 lol so I need to spend a little more time practicing. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a printer.
