My old printer bit the dust so I just went with the representatives advice to get this printer as a replacement. This printer is great! I print about 15-30 pages a month and this is all I need in a printer. The photo quality is amazing and doesn’t take long to print. You can even print photos right from your phone! Great printer for the price and usage.

I bought this printer to use in my home office. I spent 8 hours trying to get it to work with my HP Laptop. Our business IT guy who has working on hardware for 20 years spent 6 hours trying to get the printer to work. It will now only print by a USB cable and only iWord documents. I’m not crazy just Word documents. I would never recommend buying this printer and should have listened to all the reviews that have the same problem.

Printer icon switches are way too small for normal fingers. Followed instructions to sign up for ink program online and on the printer. Received email to accept terms using printer icon. When I follow steps printer says I’m already enrolled. Received email yesterday indicating my enrollment was cancelled. Too complicated.

Overall quality good and functionality meets expectations, but number of pages per ink cartridge is completely unacceptable. Way fewer pages per cartridge than experienced with the HP 8715 that this device replaced. The cost per page for ink is double what was expected. Will retain the printer for photos when needed and now shopping for another everyday printer.

My old HP printer stopped working properly after about 14 years. So naturally when I started to look for a replacement, my first choice was HP. I contacted HP and they asked what options I was looking for. They suggested the ENVY 7855. It was exactly what I needed and the price I paid was great. Thank you very much HP!

This is one of the best printers I have used. The setup process is very easy and the screen makes this printer very user friendly. The Wireless setup is very nice, and the wifi direct makes it easy to print. And the email service helped me to print remotely sometimes. I used the photo printing, it’s a very good quality photo if you use the proper photo paper. I would 100 percent recommend this printer for home or home office.

It is at its best a rather stupid product, and at its worst a pointless waste of recources. Take the touchscreen for example. A touch screen is brilliant if its the size of your palm or a sheet of paper and if you can cary it in your hand or hold it in your lap. When its the size of a credit card, however, and attached to a 20 lb machine that needs to be pluged in its more than useless and unforgivably irritating; especially if you have hands any larger than the average barbie. Wireless printing seems like a brilliant idea but alas the driver will not install properly on at least the first 7 tries. Over the last year or so ive been struggling with anger issues and have made good progre however this hateful product has canceled out much of that progress. It has many features yes but that makes it an inherently compromized machine try and simply plug it into your computor to print a simple pdf and youll spend five minutes waiting for it to print out 3 blank sheets. Yes you can print from your phone but how often do you ever need to print something from your phone; sure you can print wirelessly but if you think about it is pointless. This being a personal printer if youd have in your house, you need to get up to grab the print anyway so it cant be much harder to take your laptop to plug in, or if you have a desk top you can just set it up next to it so the wireless feature is redundant. In short this product is hateful, daft, pointless, and I hate it. I wouldnt wish it upon my most hated enemy. Please for your mental heath and the health of your family do not purchase this iredeamable peice of utter utter garbage.

Note: I received this printer free in exchange for my honest review. I have been needing a new printer and was ecstatic to be able to provide a review for the HP Envy 7855. The fact that it is wireless is a huge plus. With several laptops, tablets and mobile phones in the house, it is awesome that we can send our items to the printer without having to use the desktop. The wireless setup was easy, but I will say that I found the touch screen buttons a little small. I have small hands, and had to use a stylus to punch in the password for our network (I kept “fat fingering” the password and making mistakes). The printer comes with it`s own email address that you can also use to send items to for printing. The best part is that you can change the user name to make it easier for your family to remember. The print clarity for both paper and photos is amazing. a huge plus is that the color cartridge is “tri-color” – one cartridge vice three for your color printing. My former printer had 3 color cartridges and one was always going out, causing you to make several cartridge changes. With just one color cartridge to change out, you will save time and money. I can`t say enough about this printer. Love it!
