I bought an HP replacement cartridge because the previous HP Black gummed up before it was empty and could not be resuscitated. I had to de-gunk the HP color one, also, since it was printing everything in green. We’ll see how this new HP cartridge holds out.

Ink is ink, works fine. One thing that annoys me is that the Desk Jet 2640 un-necessarily burns up ink with the testing. NOT NEEDED. Sometimes it want’s to do it over and over. Re-testing alignment should be an optional choice.

The Tri-color #65 tri-color cartridge, after printing only several pages successfully, produced successively poor results, i.e., with a faded, washed out appearance. I believe that the cartridge shipped to me must have been largely dried up or defective.
