I have purchased this item in the past and both times received a fresh factory packed cartridge with two year exp dates. The cartridge has vary good print factor and long life. The only con is when the ink runs out it stops immediately. There is no gradual fade out to aware you the end is coming. One page will be perfect the next zero.

HP must love filling up the landfills with their ink cartridges. I only got 14 pages of printing tax forms before it ran out!! Over a dollar a page! Would it really hurt HP to supply a fair amount of ink in these cartridges? I am sure the cartridges cost a lot more than the ink that is injected into them…. what a huge waste!

This last cartridge I purchased so far is working ok . The cartridge that came with the printer did not last 30 pages , went to auto refill and that turned out worse , who in there right mind charges someone for using there own printer , if I could have returned I would have. We will see what lays ahead . Last , aftermarket cartridges don’t work , whats up with that?
