April 14, 2020 The HP Z3700 Purple Wireless Mouse is a wonderful product! It is loaded with great innovative features that are shown below. The Mouse can be used upto 16 months on just one AA battery. This depends on usage, especially when keeping the on/off switch (found at the bottom) turned on for an extended time-frame when not in use. In my opinion, this is a feature that can save battery power. The HP Z3700 Mouse also comes with a storage place for the USB port, which is found when opening the battery compartment that is located on the top, not the bottom, unlike other mice. This makes it a great product to travel with. The Mouse is fast in speed and the scroll wheel works extremely well. It is very light weight, even with the battery installed. I love its wireless connectivity – no additional wires to maneuver with. However, the product sent to me appears to be defective, in that each time I ‘left click’ the mouse, the ‘right click’ button also clicks. So, I have to hit ‘Escape’ each time this occurs to remove the right click function box. In addition, I cannot hear the mouse make a clicking sound, which appears to be too soft, whether I click the left or right button, ending up with an error by clicking twice, which takes me to another function that I did not intend using. To recap, I love the product and its user-friendly functions, but regret I have to give it a One Star rating due to its defective features.
