The mouse is to thin, if you use a mouse pad with a palm rest. This is not the mouse for it. You also need to use the mouse with your hand completely flat on it. It’s not where the other kinds of mouse have a nice oval shape to it. The material also feels very cheap.

It has a terrible connection to my PC, I am constantly having to drag it across the screen and redouble my efforts just to highlight anything on screen. Nice compact unit. Works great. I do however sometimes end up right clicking while I attempt to left click, my suggestion would be make the right side higher than the left side.

The HP Z3700 is a good travel mouse due to its size. I would not recommend this mouse as a daily driver however. I don’t think it would handle the rigors of daily use. The mouse has a very slim profile which is nice for packing in a backpack or bag but does make your palm and wrist uncomfortable after prolonged use. The left and right clicks are average, not too loud and not too soft. It would be noticeable in a quiet room. The scroll wheel is probably the worst part of the mouse; it’s very small so you don’t get much scrolling. You have to scroll multiple times to make it down a page. The best part about the mouse is the battery and USB compartment. That magnetic cover is very creative and works really well. I dropped the mouse twice now and it still works fine.
