Great Printer! It was easy for me to set up straight out of the box, all I needed to do was download the drivers. Copying and printing was super quick and easy. The touch screen is easy to use and I also like that it can hold a nice amount of paper in the paper drawer. It printed my documents and a few pictures quick and easy with no problems.

printer works fine when it works… the scanner software is terribly buggy and prone to locking up my computer forcing me to do a restart. I have installed it multiple times and ran the HP “fix it” software…. Yuk. All in all, I would never recommend this printer

2-SIDED PRINTING= 2 STEP OPERATION. ALL OTHER HP PRINTERS DO IN ONE STEP!

AWESOME small printer

Bought this for one of our directors who now has to work from home. It prints a decent quality at 600×600, it will copy, scan, print, etc with ease. My only regret is not checking the specs closely to see if it supports wireless, which it did not. But in the end the cost of wireless on a printer is not worth it, plus its completely unsecure and most CISO types will say never ever install wireless on a printer.

I was tired of inkjet smear and runs when the pages gets a drop of water. I am thrilled with the product. Many of the frustrations others have experienced have not happened to me using the printer as wireless only in my home office. I’m so pleased, that I am getting another for my work office. I got sticker shock at replacement toner prices, but when you consider that you get 2000 pages, it’s not so bad. Moreover, the print quality is good and the characters are not as heavily embossed (thick) as other large office color laser printers.

I ordered the 477 model with an extra third drawer so I could use legal size paper 11×14. Inches however when you insert the legal paper in the tray the tray itself sticks from the front of the printer by 2 to 3 inches In the past the HP printers had a protrusion or box that jutted out of the back of the printer and thus the front of the third drawer closed flush with drawer 2 and the rest of the printer. The old design was. better and I did not expect the change for the worse.

Don’t know because our new printer traveled halfway around the southeast, before delivered to our home. Have not set up yet. We expect it to be damaged having traveled over 1000 miles when we are 200 + or – away from distribution center. Ask us after it is set up and we see if it works.

We are doing less printing and more scanning. It is not the easiest machine to scan, we like to use the Subject and the File name the same and this machine will not let us copy and paste the subject line to the file name.

I bought it a month ago. Very quiet. Works with all my devices. Very pleased.

Just bought this printer for my wife. This printer prints beautifully. She can print even when she is not at work. You won’t be disappointed with this printer.

It was not what I expected. Does not do AirPrint as I thought it would.

I love how easy this printer was to set up especially the wireless and E-Print connections. Not only was the set up easy , but the scan option is quick and efficient . This printer is both economical and affordable. Lots of features for the money.

This is our first week of operation for this printer. It’s a big step up from what we worked with previously. That might overly bias this review to the positive. Speed of printing both networked and local is a vast improvement, especially for longer multi-page documents. Faxes and scans have a similar speed improvement. Quality of printing is much more consistent than before with reliably crisp letters and graphics. This is not the printer we use for photo quality printing so this is not a review for that application. Our toner supply is barely affected this early in the game but its projected refill cycle will reduce our expenses dramatically.

This is my 2nd printer of this model( prev. one only 2 years old, something got stuck on roller and left a repeating mark. Rollers are not accessable to clean.) This model works with my office software so stuck buying same model!

This is a good printer, but we have had issues installing it. Several hours were invested in getting the printer to not look to the PC as a plain USB device and/or an MP3 player, or nothing recognizable at all.

It took me 3 or 4 days to install this computer. Directions are very wanting for correct information. For example the instructions say it is recommended you use the cord that comes with the printer. WRONG ! Couldn’t print, couldn’t do anything. Grrrr. Also the instructions stated to hook the plug into the back of the printer port. There is none, only to connect to your internet. This is supposed to be an all in one and no fax port! Why. I am really not happy at all. I tried but need to configure the fax yet. Not looking forward to it. Probably doesn’t have correct instructions for that either. I have been a long time customer of HP. I have always written a very good review. I may have to switch companies.

This is not a Wireless printer. Needs to be connected with LAN cable. Description creates impression it is wireless, but it isn’t.
Edison Langworth (verified owner) –
This printer is very good but would be Great if it had 11 X 17 paper tray and if it could scan that big as well.

This printer is really fast from sleep to first page out. The quality is very good and photos are amazing.
