Great purchase! Functions well in my busy office!

We bought this for our small office and are very pleased. We initially purchased M283fdw Laser Jet Pro and were very displeased with the loudness and inability to copy a two sided document on a printer meant for business?

Printer setup was easy. The M479fdn has all the necessary features for small business (scan, fax, duplex, color or black/white printing, and paper trays for letter and legal paper as well as envelopes.) Price was very reasonable.

Printer works great. Software to connect to PC for scanning doesn’t.

Ok we got two of these brand new, First issue crops up within a month ADF scans are crooked and would often pull multiple page during scan, had tech come out twice to fix, first time he said to get heavier paper (no available here) second time we verified that both devices scan crooked and his final parting word – Buy a more expensive printer, Hp quality has gone downhill a lot

The printer and delivery where great. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong printer. I thought I was ordering the wireless printer.

I bought this printer recently after an old inkjet died. Since I print infrequently, a laserjet makes more sense for me. Overall I’m happy with the printing and scanning, but there is a little room for improvement. Pros: – Crisp, clear printouts – Printer detected and “just works” on Linux, MacOS, Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux – Touch screen menus are easy to navigate – Scanning is very quick Cons: – There’s such a large power draw, when I turn it on or it cycles toner, the lights dim in my home office. No other printer has done this. – Documents scanned through the automatic feeder are sometimes a little crooked

Good Printer – Does the Job and is fast

Bought this printer seeing that it had wifi connections. However, the primary source has to be connected to a router via ethernet and then other devices can connect via wifi. Inconvenient at best and writeup needs to be clearer.

This thing has been a waste. It’s replacing an 8 year old laserjet and we couldn’t be more disappointed. It struggles to print certain file types and the troubleshooting is non-existant. Worse, it makes a high pitched screaming noise anytime you print something. We’ve only had it for about 2 months.

I had a MFP M425dn printer before and this upgrade is well worth it. All the features worked well. The quality of the finished print was great. I would recommend the printer to anyone wanting a quality finished print project.

Just received the printer two weeks ago. It has all the features I was looking for except automatic duplex. Haven’t had time to try all features, but I am very happy with the machine.

So easy to put in place, connect and print from any device I need to print from. We’ve tried printing envelopes and it’s seamless. So good to have everything working without problems.

I am very impressed with this machine in all ways. Print quality, including photos, is about as good as you’ll ever see from a laser. It was easy to set up. WiFi was a piece of cake. Be careful when/if you need to get to the toner cartridges–the plastic is a bit fragile in places. Note for HP: The touchscreen gets in the way of scanning bound material (books).

What I love about this printer is that it was super easy to set up, I had it running on the network in less than 10 minutes. Quality of prints is amazing and better yet, it takes various weights of paper allowing us to print fliers and marketing materials.

We bought this to replace an older Inkjet printer and an inkjet MFP. Our printing needs are very sporadic and our ink cartridges were constantly drying up and became unusable. So we decided to go with a toner based solution. We have it on our home network and have scanned, faxed, printed directly and by email. So far it is working like a charm and we love the speed and quality. Setup was easy and we will expand to use it with our mobile devices soon.

Best printer, fax, scanner. User friendly Easy to install Do not know why I waited so long

I bought two of these, one for my home Mac and one for work (Windows 10). The Windows setup was wonderful, fast, and intuitive. The Mac has been miserable. The software disk doesn’t have software for Mojave (or any other current Mac). HP Support says there is no driver for Mac OS. Even with a USB cable connected, I can’t get seamless scanning. At the moment I can scan to my email – after two days of futzing. So, if you have a Mac forget it, but if you are using Windows 10 – it’s a great MFP.
