The Husky 100% full synthetic air compressor oil is perfect for your compressor. The full synthetic oil protects the compressor pump 25% better than synthetic blend oils, which means longer life for your compressor. The Husky 100% full synthetic oil performs better at both lower and higher temperatures, which means better compressor performance year round.

I change the oil in my portable air compressor. I want better colder weather starts. I will have to wait a few months to see how it helps. This is a full synthetic ISO 68 which is equivalent to a SAE20. it seems like a very predictable improvement. Compressor oil is non detergent, it is best to use it vs. motor oil.

Since it is a Husky Compressor it’s obviously made for it. And Has kept it going for 10 years of homeowner level usage. Change the oil once a year, and drain the tank of condensation @ the same time. This synthetic lets it run smoother at below freezing temps. Still runs like new.

I recently bought a Makita MAC5200 compressor and I bought this oil to use after the initial break-in period. I’m currently running the compressor with the oil supplied by Makita. The Husky 100% full synthetic compressor oil is ISO 68 rated which meets the oil specifications required by this compressor at moderate temperatures. The advantage to this oil is that it should work at lower temperatures than standard ISO 68 oil (i.e., down to 22 degrees Farenheit vs 34 degrees with standard 20W oil) and should also work at higher temperatures (i.e., greater than 80 degrees Farenheit). Hopefully this means oil changes will not be required as often due to seasonal very low or very high temperatures.
