It worked well. I didn’t use with a mitre box. But, needed a saw to do fine straight cuts. Noticed Home Depot used this saw for cutting moulding – so thought it would work for me. Originally wanted blades for my hack saw, but “metal” blades is all that was available. Good saw.

It isn’t perfect. You can’t make super long strides with it but i think that applies to any open bladed saw. I’ve be using it for a month and still no signs of slowing down. Hint: If something is hard to cut, there may be a knot in your wood or the wood is too hard.
