This is a heavy duty flashlight that puts out a bright & even beam. It takes 6 AA batteries that are included and according to the specs, will last 4-6 hours. It has three beam modes that alternate with the push of the button/switch on the rear of the light. This light is solid with an aluminum body and rubberized ends for shock absorption. It claims to be waterproof up to 1 meter but I don’t plan on testing it although it looks like it is tight and solid enough to survive. It feels good to hold a flashlight in my hand with some substance instead of lightweight plastic. This will stay under the seat of my truck for emergencies.

Great heavy flashlight. The brightness of the light is very, very good. I would buy again. I got this in the clearance area and it was marked down considerably from original price.

There seems to be very little different between mode 1 & 2. Mode 3 is a flood light mode. Seems to be a good flash light, but there’s no true “spot light” mode.
