This does indeed feel solid and nice. In practice, that 500 lumens is a bad joke – I have multiple 250 lumen lights that throw a far brighter beam further. It’s a little better than an old Boy Scout/Army D-cell light… but not by much. Maybe we just got a dim one – we’ll be returning this one to try again.
