These pliers are very comfortable to handle and are very sturdy, although I could barely cut the thick wire with them that the salesman said they would be able to cut.

These linesman pliers are a reliable heavy duty tool that can easily bend small to medium gauge hardware cloth, mesh wire, iron, steel, etc. They are also strong enough to cut through the aforementioned materials. The handles are an ideal length, and serve to assist with torque and leverage while also helping to keep the pliers easily accessible in a tool belt or bag.

I’m not an electrician so I don’t care how it cuts Romex, but I’m sure it’s just fine. My main test is to cut a 16d sinker and in two. Not a problem. I bought these cuz I misplaced my $30 Klein sidecutter. And my $25 Channellock sidecutter. I was ticked. I was a bit apprehensive about buying a $12 Husky tool but it performed great. I had some cheapo chinese diagonal cutters that were made of steel that was softer than a nail so they got ruined with the first cut. Go ahead and buy these sidecutters. Buy three of ’em if you misplace tools. You can afford it, and they will last a long time.

The linesman pliers were bought to replace one I had lost. The new ones are exactly what I needed.

These pliers appeared to be just what I needed for the wire work I have been doing lately. Heavy and long handles for leverage when cutting and crimping. The only thing that anyone considering purchasing these pliers needs to be aware of (that I have found so far) are the sharp edges around the ground faces of the tool. Be prepared to do some filing or grinding to ease these edges or risk a serious cut. Husky could do a better job of finishing their tools before packaging them.

In a previous survey my comment I recently moved over to husky ant the tools are working just fine

Bought them to find out the toughness of them..I have all sort of brands..not many or any others I think offer lifetime warranty..between milwaukee and husky tools is my make up list..only downfall is they are made in China..not usa..

Good pliers, solid, and grip seems to be staying on the handles so far. I have only used them for a couple of weeks so I will update after more use. Lifetime warranty is always a plus woth Husky tools.

Bought pliers ers to help cut wire and help twist strands to hold chain link fencing to steel posts. Know this tool is not intended for such work but performed well in cutting and twisting many a length of wire.
