Got this for tight areas where a normal punch and hammer wont work. It works pretty well on thin metals. Gives me enough of a indent and sometimes whole to get my self tappers going without them wanting to skate.

I was shopping for a punch to do some drilling where there was very little room for error. I wasn’t planning on this one but it caught my eye in the Home Depot app. The reviews were what convinced me to spend a little more and get this piece. I was not sorry. I used it to mark where I’d need to drill on an aluminum disk. It quickly and precisely marked the spot. I went into my first use of this tool with low expectations and came out smiling. If you’re shopping for a center punch, stop looking and just buy this one. It’s the only one worth your time.
