Needed to unscrew the cord connector to a fan disconnect. Unfortunately the appropriate sized socket to fit on the nut was too big to fit down into the box. the long nose locking pliers had the grip to lock onto the nut and was small enough to fit down into the box and twist it off. worked great!

The quality of the pliers is excellent and as long as you use them correctly they should last a life time. I have owned Husky needle nose pliers for years but I broke them when I over tightened them using another set of pliers to close them,which was my fault ! The locking jaws can withstand a lot of pressure plus it enables you to get into small areas.
