These are fairly heavy weight but the locking screws at the bottom are a bit hard to turn. The smaller long-nose pair does not have a very fine tip (compared with my father’s older pair). I also prefer the quick release mechanism on the older set, but that is probably because I am used to it. These should help around the house since the arthritis in my right hand can be an issue.

Some of the best in this price range. Not quite the old school “Vise Grip” mostly on the law connection to the handles. But regardless, these are a good set and a long as you’re not twisting them in use, but using them in normal fashion, you will notice no difference.
