I have something like a dozen blade knives and even then, I sometimes end up looking for one.Adding three more might not be a solution, but when I saw this product and for the price, it would be hard to pass up.These are better quality utility knives. They’re as light as any other brands similar design, but the smaller design is convenient.The knife is comfortable while working. When slicing cardboard, the razor blade was firm. It wasn’t sloppy-wobbly as it sliced. The lockout feature is solid. It’s reasonable easy to close, but I found it required somewhat more effort as opposed to my other brand knives. The button is really small for a man’s hand, in my opinion.Changing the blade is easy, but the part that swings away to access the blade needs to be open substantially, otherwise the blade clashes preventing it from closing.I don’t use the external clip, so I can’t comment on it’s durability.Overall, I would recommend this product.

I always find it frustrating when it becomes time to switch out the blade in my traditional utility knife. I hate it to the point that I will use it long after the blade has lost its edge. The Husky Compact Folding Lock-Back Utility Knife (3-piece) eliminates that frustration.With the quick-change mechanism I can swap out a blade in seconds and without the need for a screwdriver or any other tool. There is no more taking the knife apart multiple times to get the blade seated properly. Folding just like a pocket knife, the blade is safely stowed away; no more cut fingers from blades that failed to fully retract. Coming in a 3-piece set, I can store them in all of the places I am most likely to need a blade.My only complaint is that this is not the same design as the one I have at work which is a few years old. The older model is even easier than this one when changing the blade. Not sure why they would change it but I was disappointed to see the difference.
