We live in a rural area and when I take the dog out at night it is a little unsettling to wonder what’s lurking in the dark. My HUSKY flashlight is amazing. I can show the pup it is only a rabbit, not a mountain lion. The light is so bright and I can see so far. It makes me and the pup feel safer. So, thanks so much for this terrific HUSKY flashlight. I will only purchase this flashlight in the future.

This Husky 600 Lumen Led Flashlight is fabulous, made very well. It has some weight to it, feels good in the hand. I needed this to walk to my shed at night and to take my little dog out for a walk around the neighborhood. The cool thing about this Flashlight is it takes AA batteries, and shines the light quite a distance.I would recommend this Husky 600 Lumen LED Flashlight to anyone, it’s great to keep in the Car for an emergency.

The new version of this 1000 lumen LED model (which uses 6 AA batteries) is not as bright as the original 1000 lumen LED model (which used 3 D batteries). Old version threw beam 380 m; new model throws only 300m. I do not own the new version, but my experience with other flashlights, and I own quite a few, is that flashlights that use AA batteries eat them up like crazy. The AA batteries do not last long—even in LED flashlights.I’ve owned my old version 2-3 years and I have NEVER had to change the batteries. You read that right. Never. I’ve used the flashlight on only an occasional basis; perhaps 2X a week and more during blackouts or work around the house or garage. I am truly amazed at the: looong battery life, incredibly tough and durable construction quality, extremely powerful beam, overall quality. Built like a tank. Yes, heavy. But I’ll gladly pay that price for Rolls Royce quality. My concern is the switch from D cells to AA cells, resulting in a weaker beam and the likelihood of going through batteries like Kleenex during a bout of the flu. I wanted to buy 3 more, but when I went online and saw the changeover to the new version I decided not to.Why would the company do that? To save weight? Because they were bribed by the battery companies so the latter could make more profit in selling batteries? Does anyone know?
