This is one of the first sets you should get if you are a homeowner. Even a renter. Who doesn’t need a box cutter, a screwdriver(with flat, phillips, and a couple common nut sizes)?? These pliers are also very popular and helpful to remove bolts and whatnot. Get it when it’s on sale and you CANNOT beat the value, especially for a lifetime warranty. Just bring it back to HD and talk to customer service. These are by no means the top of the line tools, but I’ve even seen electricians, contractors use them. I get this set and a similar one for my new friends and clients who buy their first home

this is a 3 pc tool set, comes with pliers, a screw driver and a razor blade knife, the knife is nice and heavy, so if you should lose it you will know, the screw driver has 4 different inter changeable bits, the handle is nice and soft and feels great to a touch, the pliers also have that nice feel to the handle and also feels great in your hands, all in all, a great set to buy!

These three tools ( pliers, screw driver, and utility knife) are a staple tool set to have at home, on the road, or out in the boat. They are very good quality tools, well made, and a good value. I carry the utility knife with me all the time. It’s nice that the blade can be changed out when ever needed. I also love the screw driver with dual bits (Philips and straight-slot), and the nut-driver for 1/4″ and 5/16″ hex head screws.

This tool set comes with a handy set of pliers, a utility knife, and a nut driver/screwdriver combo tool. The pliers has a 2 position slip joint so you can adjust the jaw width, the jaws have 2 different sized curved grabbing areas and a flat area, it also has a wire cutter. The handles have a nice grippy rubber coating. The only problem I had was the nut that holds the 2 halves together was adjusted a bit loose out of the package, but a little twist with a wrench fixed that. The material that they are made of is nice and solid and not flexy like some I have used. The screwdriver / nutdriver comes with most of the standard bits you would use, it has a #1 and #2 phillips bits, and a 3/16″ and 1/4″ wide standard straight screwdriver bits, and the bit holder can be used as a 1/4″ nutdriver on one end and a 5/16″ nutdriver on the other end. The lock back utility knife is nice and solid with and easy to change blade (once you figure out how it works) the handle is nicely knurled, it locks open, has a thumb pin for easy one handed opening and a belt clip. (to change the blade you pull the slider above the blade, and pull down on the outside half of the blade holder) All in all a nicely built handy set of basic tools.

Great little tool set to keep handy around the house. Three basic tools everyone needs and uses. A utility knife, a screwdriver with interchangeable bits and a set of pliers (add a hammer) and what more do you need for basic jobs around the house. The utility knife is small and could be a little better balanced but it does still have a pretty solid feel to it. The screwdriver has 4 different inter-changeable bits (2 Phillips and 2 flat blade) and has a nice soft grip handle to help alleviate fatigue. The pliers are solid and have a nice feel to them. I do however wish they would have extended the soft grip all the way around the bottom of the handle instead of ending about 1/4 inch from the tips. All in all though still a nice basic set of tools.
