The Husky DPCN45 Pneumatic 15-Degree 1-3/4 in. Coil Roofing Nailer is ideal for applications such as the installation of asphalt shingles, cedar shingles, roof and wall sheathing, insulation board, and fiber cement siding. This rugged air powered roofing nailer is compatible with 15-Degree wire collated roofing nails from 3/4 in. to 1-3/4 in., and is specifically designed for fast and repetitive bump firing. A fire lock for safety prevents accidental firing when the tool is not in use, and an adjustable shingle guide makes sure every nail is driven with consistent spacing. The depth of the roofing nails is easily adjustable by simply turning a wheel near the trigger. A side loading magazine makes reloading a breeze, and the transparent bucket allows you to monitor how many nails you have remaining. The magazine has a capacity of 120 nails, which lets you work longer between loading nails. A magnesium body and a one piece drive blade of hardened steel result in a lightweight and durable nail gun great for long shifts, and a comfort grip handle reduces fatigue while increasing control. The air filter / anti-dust cap protects internal components from debris, and a swivel fitting provides hassle free mobility. The Pneumatic 15-Degree 1-3/4 in. Coil Roofing Nailer will reduce downtime and costly delays for construction contractors as well as DIYers, and is covered by Husky’s 2 Year Limited Warranty.

It’s easy to use, quite lightweight and even pretty quiet. Out of about 2000 nails fired, only 2 jams and a couple misfires, always at the very end of the nail coil. Compared to other nail guns I’ve used, this Husky performs very well. A good value.

All around great nailer. Very happy with its performance, variable depth adjustment, see through coil cover. Ease of loading and the weight is good.Great deal highly recommend, cannot find any nailer like this for any where near the price. Can be used as a siding nailer as well.

Loads a little odd, but not difficult. The nails have to be lined up perfectly whereas nailers I used in the past could be loaded without the nails being perfectly lined up. It took a minute to figure out; hold the coil with your thumb while closing. It does sink nails at a low PSI (100); other nailers require a higher PSI to properly sink the nails. It works well with smaller compressors since the air isn’t used up as fast with the lower PSI. It is a little on the heavy side, but works like it’s supposed to.

I haven’t used the Husky Pneumatic 15 degree nailer yet. I’ll be glad to follow up with my opinion at a later time.

Used it to reroof our shed. No doubt we could have used it to reroof the entire cottage. Good quality/price DIY tool. Huge time saver. Did not jam during the project and the see through plastic for nail magazine let you see how many nails you have left. The swiveled air connector was also handy to esse the interference from the air hose. Sturdy tool and well worth the purchase.

This tool has the advantage of taking a wide variety of coiled nails. You can use galvanized roofing nails, of course. You also, have the option of getting siding nails, galvanized with straight shanks or a galvanized ring shank nail to hold down wood or aluminum siding. This tool comes with a clear cover on the coil magazine to identify your load status at any time. You also have a bottom stop to identify overlap of either your shingles or siding material, to stay uniform with your installation. You also have a built in industrial swivel air connector, which helps when used with a whip hose to get into tight corners or angles.

Nail gun saved a lot of effort and made my nailing much better with no bent nails. Simple to load, change nails, remove jammed nails. Takes a very light tough with trigger or bump. If you are not careful one can easily get two nails in very quick succession (this was the source of my jams).

Light weight, easy to load. Works well so far.
Barry Lakin (verified owner) –
Light weight so its not a burden to vary and still the power you’d expect from a top of the line nailer.

Works too good! Getting a little bounce and double shots, but it could be I am going through metal. Worked great, and only got jammed once!

Great gun for the price, used it for hanging hardie board siding. I did have a couple of double feeds here and there but nothing debilitating.
