The nailer worked very well. I used it to nail 175 fence pickets. The nailer ran as quick as I wanted and I nailed over 2100 nails when all said and done for a few hours stopping only to reload.

I am not a commercial carpenter. But, I do all of my own remodeling and I do some side projects for friends. This is exactly what I needed at a great price. Should last me a lot of years. It is easy to separate in case of a jam, which hasn’t happened yet. Very impressed. Only 4 stars because a case or a cheap bag would have been a nice addition to protect it.

It performed like a champ on the first try. Loading the gun with nails was a little tricky but I was able to figure it out with the diagrams that came with the manual. You take the strip of nails and push them through the rear of the magazine. The spring lock slips over the nails and catches the back with a hook that pushes the nails forward. I picked the 16-Gauge over an 18-Gauge finish nailer because it is more versatile and the 16-Gauge nails have a tendency to not bend so easily. I plan to use the nailer on cabinets in the kitchen. But my first project was to nail some 2×6″ boards together with the 2-1/2″ finish nails to raise the legs of my wife’s bed underneath the headboard. It worked great.

I don’t do a lot of home projects so I was looking for a economical solution for a few to dos. So far I like the weight and simplicity.

Was remodeling our house and bought this nail gun to install baseboards and cabinetry moldings. Worked great. Have used both 2 inch and 1 inch finishing nails and the nail gun has operated flawlessly with both. Super easy to load and use. Nailed a box and a half of nails so far and no jams or problems.

Needed a finish nailer for trim, molding and to hang 20 sheets of 5/8″ T-1-11 siding by myself as my trusty 1/4″ crown stapler didn’t hold long enough staples. I did’t need a nailer that much nor did I want to empty my wallet for a tool I would use and store for a few months or years to the next DIY job. So I took a chance on this Husky nailer and wasn’t disappointed. Light weight and easy on mildly arthritic hands and wrists. I wished at times the magazine could hold 2-1/2 sticks of nails while I was on a ladder and forget to check before going up. LOL.Amazing how fast the magazine effortlessly empties with a power tool like this ! If you plan on hanging full sheets of siding you may end up reloading twice to complete the sheet. Otherwise it’s easy to reload. I would recommend the Husky 16 ga. nailer for the DIY’er for sure !

I got this Husky 16-Guage Straight Finish Nailer to use in my workshop for small woodwork projects. Turns out this Nailer can handlejust about any finishing nail detail. I have only one minor complaint and it is not with the Nailer itself. The problem iswith being able to purchase the 16-Gauge 3/4 inch and one inch nails in the store. The larger lengths 1 1/4 up to 2 1/2 inchsizes are readily available and the Nailer works effortlessly providing superb workmanship. I still love this Nailer and hopeto see the smaller length nails on the shelf as I will be using this Nailer for many years to come.I also got the Husky 23-gauge Headless Pin Nailer at the same time so I am able to use smaller pin nails with that Nailer for my smallerprojects.
