The 3/8 IN. DRIVE 100-POSITION EXTRA LONG HANDLE RACHET IS EASY TO USE. It is easy to put on and remove sockets from the ratchet. It is easy to switch directions on this ratchet. The handle is long enough to help you remove tight bolts/nuts. The ratchets size does make it hard to get into small places. The ratchets finish is easily scratched off. I am very pleased with this product.

Wanted a fine toothed ratchet. Have always been a Craftsman’s tool freak but they did not offer what I wanted. Seems like a very good tool to reach a difficult bolt. With a lifetime guarantee you can’t go wrong. Just need to be careful not to over torque.

Husky 15in long reach ratchet is especially useful to those hard to reach spots. I do lots of mechanical work on my cars and this ratchet comes in handy working around engine bay, chassis, etc. Its ergonomic handle feels good in hand and doesn’t cut into palm of your hand unlike some other ratchets that I’ve used.All-steel construction ensures long durability. It has gun metal finish on it which will scratch easily so it would’ve been nice if it came in chrome finish or some other finish that would’ve been more durable. I’d like to purchase 1/4 and 1/2 set as well so that I’d have entire set for my use

The Husky 3/8 inch Drive 100-position extra-long handle ratchet measures 15 inches overall from top to the end of the handle to give you the added reach when needed. The 100 position means you can get a turn on your fittings when you only have a small swing angle compared to the old 60 position ratchets, in other words you get more clicks with less turn radius to break loose or tighten your fasteners. The handle has a comfortable end that fits your hand nicely.

I needed a longer ratchet handle to gain extra leverage on stubborn bolts, especially on my tractor, mower and cars. This handle is long and solidly built with all metal construction. The handle is thin which makes it a little lighter when operating and gives a little extra space when navigating tighter spaces and bolts. I assume that it will not bend if significantly torqued. The ratchet motion is very smooth and effortless with no slipping noted. The handle easily engaged with my sockets and held then snugly. overall a very nice tool to have at home

Okay, I’m just going to tell you that if you do any kind of automotive or mechanical work you really need one of these extra long 3/8 inch ratchets. This Husky ratchet is 15 inches long as compared to the normal 9 inch length ratchet supplied with most other socket sets. That extra 6 inches will supply much more leverage to loosen or tighten stubborn nuts and bolts. No longer will you have to slip a “cheater bar” or box-end wrench over that shorter ratchet to break loose a tight bolt. I used this to loosen the oil drain screw on my car that the dealership had apparently used an air impact wrench to reinstall when they changed the oil. Another really good feature of this Husky ratchet is that it has the 100 point clicks in the arc of the ratchet. You don’t need much room to get the tool to “catch” and turn the nut or bolt. This ratchet has a nice matte black finish, has a quick socket release and has a professional-style smooth rounded handle to prevent bruising your palms. This is a very nice tool and I highly recommend it!
