This is my 3rd husky tool and i am continually impressed with the quality and craftsmanship.. Daily use and i put a 3 foot cheater pipe on a 18mm bolt and ratchet performed flawless.Husky is what the old “C” use to be. I will be buying more Husky tools!

You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t have a variety of rachet handles to pick from. The standard are great, but when you get into a tight spot a stubby is perfect when you can’t rotate it and a LONG handle is great when something is just beyond your reach. I use this handle for the latter and even with some solid abuse it’s held up greatPros1.) 100 Positions – with a longer handle it’s even more important to get a few “clicks” in before you try to tighten again. This ratchet barely has travel without locking in again2.) Durability – I recently switched my brakes out on my 2006 Pilot in “lets oversalt the roads” state. After banging on it with a deadblow then using a piece of pipe as a cheater – this ratchet still looks new3.) Great length – still fits in a standard toolbox but is long enough to get into tight spaces

I used this for the first time on my car tires. I change my tires in the winter and summer so I needed a long handle ratchet for the job. I must say that my lug nuts were tight so I had to use a pipe to gain needed leverage. This ratchet had no problem at all with the job. I was able to change all my tires and after I did that job, i proceeded to change my oil. The ratchet made the unscrewing of the oil plug much easier than with my shorter ratchet I have used in the past. This is a great tool and I expect it to come in handy many times. Its also great quality and look and feel is great too.

This ratchet has a nice slim head and a slightly longer handle to help deliver more torque. Socket retention is good, with the button on the back of the head easily releasing them when pressed. However, the 100 position function is not a true 100 tooth pawl design – it’s two stacked and offset pawls of 50 teeth each. So it’s a little coarser feeling than it would be for a 100 tooth pawl. I checked, and sure enough there’s 3.6° between ratchet positions, but there’s a ton of backlash too. When using this with a socket (and no adapter), I measured 10° from fully loaded torque back to the position where it clicked to the next tooth. When I applied torque again, I met resistance at 3.6° from where I was originally. That’s a big difference in swing angle that’s the result of a less-than-stellar ratcheting mechanism.

It’s tough, bought it to make removing 18 year old exhaust bolts easier, and it did the job well. Being 100 position helps a lot with long ratchets where every click is needed to finish the job.

Works great. Just wish it didn’t chip so easily.

I was replacing a alternator in a tight area and my regular size ratchet was too short to reach the bolts I needed to remove, after struggling for about 2 hours it became obvious I needed a longer handle? Went online and saw the tool I needed, went to Home Depot bought it, came home and took about 15 minutes and I was done!

Here is the ratchet handle for those stuck bolts. Where it would typically be necessary to add an extension to a ratchet handle, it won’t be necessary any longer. The extra length gives extra torque to remove stubborn bolts. That and the fact that it is an 100 position ratchet will provide much needed assistance in tight locations. The ratchet can move in very small increments yet still provide the pressure needed..The grip is excellent and the sockets hold well on the handle

Great leverage, minimum movement with the 100 position head.

Great ratchet for those that need a long handle. Nicely geared, great price and backed by a hassle free warranty. It’s a win all around.

Direction lever loose, 100 tooth ratchet did not provide any finer degree of control over older Craftsman 80 tooth tools.

The overall length is great for leverage and the fine tooth ratchet head is nice for limited access areas.
