After reading mixed reviews on this I decided to buy it to update my 3/8 socket set. Overall construction is quite good, with a handsome finish that starts wearing off at the first contact with anything hard. It also makes a dropped socket nearly invisible in a dark engine bay. Ratchet operation is smooth, and length of handle is a plus. Smaller sockets gripped fasteners well but larger sizes were not as snug, and upon rounding off a bolt on my truck’s skid plate, I packed it up for a hassle free return and purchased a six point set. Ratchet was nice enough I will likely buy the 100 tooth flex head version, but universal sockets were a disappointment.
