Decent kit of metric and standard sockets, plus screw driver and torx bits. Includes an extension with a knurled ring for starting and finishing bolt/nuts. Comes in a fitted, plastic case. The universal-joint, ratcheted gimbal is a very handy addition to a 1/4″ set. You can set about any angle you would need in a tight space and get a lot of torque with the large outer ring in the palm of your hand. See the short video.

Nice little set if you get it on sale ratchet alone is priced at 20. The sockets are great ratchet so far not so great had to return one after a few uses locked up. If your working on lite duty stuff or break the bolts loose first it does great form quick removals.

Compact do it all 1/4″ tool set, you have almost everything you may need on the go including metric sockets (5 to 10mm), standard (3/16 to 1/2″) torx, hex, phillips, and standard screw driver bits as well as a small 1/4″ extension to be used with the very intuitive hand held ratchet. I got this to replace some of the cheap quality tools that came in my motorcycle tool set. They work great and occupy very little space, they are blued steel so they wont rust easily and have performed flawlessly. It doesn’t have a traditional ratchet, so if you need extra torque above what you can hand tighten you will need a regular ratchet.

Good quality product and value for money, ease of use for tight corners and angles.

Nice small socket set with a small gimbal drive, great for taking apart small projects and also great where you do not have the room to swing a ratchet wrench. Comes with sockets up to 1/2 inch in size and six MM sockets but you can use any sockets you have, also came with extra screwdriver bits Phillips,Hex and Torx. I would say just enough to most of the small projects you have without having to drag out the big tool box. Gimbal ratchet easy to use and switch.

This is a super handy set to have around the house and garage. It consists of a 1/4″ drive gimbal ratchet, a 3″ extension, 6 SAE sockets from 3/16″ through 1/2″, 6 metric sockets from 5 through 10 mm, a square to hex adapter and 10 driver bits for various screws. The sockets are multi-drive, that is they fit 6 different style fasteners, very nice! Handy for working on the car, we used it on a recent door repair (see photo). The case is hard plastic, and will probably not last as long as the tools. The case is not covered by the warranty. The gimbal ratchet is a neat device, unfortunately it only lasted a few minutes. We used this tool once, and now the gimbal no longer ratchets. The selector switch still rotates, but the gimbal is locked solid. I guess I will return this under the lifetime guarantee.

When I ordered this, I really wasn’t sure how large or small the product was, as the promo images didn’t provide a good sense of scale. It’s actually really small, and designed for tight spaces, where high-torque isn’t necessary. While I thought it would be palm-sized, it’s really smaller than that, and is best used with your fingers. It turned out that I had the perfect application to test this tool: tightening a number of nuts that had come loose underneath a desk. I was able to get this job done in just a few minutes, which would have taken forever with a wrench, and where a standard ratchet just wouldn’t fit.Unfortunately, I was disappointed by several things regarding this kit:(1) the gimbal and sockets were covered in a thin layer of grease from the factory, which made using this very unpleasant, as it’s a handheld tool and instantly got all over my hands. It required some serious hand-scrubbing to remove.(2) the case lid broke off during shipment (plastic tab that it was snapped onto sheered off), and I’d assume it would only take one drop from table height for this to happen during use.(3) the screw bits are of limited value, as they don’t work with the extension bit (and in fact require the use of the hex-to-square adapter bit).Overall, this is a good special-purpose socket set, and the fact that it comes with a case gives it an advantage over similar-priced full-size ratchet kits that do not.

Awsome! I’d love pass through versions also!

Too hard to turn it to unscrew tight screws, since there is not much leverage.

Great for working on small stuff in low clearance areas. A coworker has one that I borrowed and I really liked it, so I bought my own. I do a lot of work in areas that a regular ratchet won’t fit, this is perfect.

This small fastener socket and screw bit set has unique features that make it stand out. The 100-tooth gimbal palm drive ratchet pivots in all directions allowing successful fastener access and engagement in really tight areas. This is further enhanced by the supplied 2-inch wobble extension bar that allows the driven socket or screw driver bit engagement angle to shift a bit to fully engage the heads of fasteners where the approach angle would otherwise be not quite right. This wobble effect can be defeated by pushing the driven socket more firmly onto the wobble extension bar. Except for the 1/4-inch socket, all 13 sockets in this set have knurl rings for easy grip and spin using fingertips. Only the 1/4 inch socket is hex type as it serves as the screw driver bit adapter socket. The remaining sockets are bi-hex or 12-point type. The 1/4-inch socket is equipped with and internal spring clip so that the screw bits do not fall out after insertion. Truthfully, I would prefer all of the sockets to be hex type to reduce the potential for rounding of fastener heads or to facilitate working with existing fasteners that have been rounded. Regardless of that issue, this is a unique tool set that works very, very well for low-torque, small fastener applications in tight quarters.
