I have a bunch of old ratchet handles and most have become sluggish or loose and are no fun to try to use for tightening or loosening up stuff. This Husky 3/8 drive handle has a reported 144 tooth and claims a 2.5 degree minimum swing which means that it will work in some pretty tight places. the handle is long for good leverage. This unit has a push button locking mechanism so chances are slim that you will have a socket fall off and promptly roll under the car to the exact center of the car and fall into the floor drain, never to be seen again. I look forward to putting this handle to work.

A great 3/8 inch ratchet. While I am not a pro- just a DIY guy – I love this Husky ratchet. l like the weight and feel of this Husky ratchet and the longer handle gives me a little more leverage- us older guys need all the help we can get! Its hand grip is comfortable.. The 144 position ratchet makes it easier to use in tight spaces and the socket release button works great. It has earned a top spot in my tool box.

Nicely made 3/8 ratchet with 144 position head. This give me the slightest moving to the next click so that I can tighten stuff much more quicker. Like if I am in a tight area, this give me more ability to move that nut faster to tighten. The the 144 position is a nice feature. The ratcheting position also felt solid, it did not give me any feel of stripping or damaging as I use it an pulled it. The teardrop head is slim and the finish chrome finish felt excellent in my hand. So I paired it with my socket set that only came with a round know handle, so with this ratchet that I paired it with I have a more capable socket set that can have more “umphf” with using a ratchet handle. So if you need a precision ratchet handle with 144 position, this is it for me. Sturdy construction, well made, durable feel and weight. Made in Taiwan, and I have other tools made in Taiwan and I find them and this one well made. Comes with the Husky Lifetime warranty too.

It’s a very satisfying ratchet I’m curious as to how much it will hold up. and how much force I can use on it before it breaks. Do you have any information on the stats.

I have owned the same 3/8in ratchet for 20 years, and I’m guessing that for the last 5 years it has been slowly but surely breaking because the teeth are starting to slip. So, when I saw the Husky 3/8 in. Drive 144-Tooth Pro Ratchet available at The Home Depot, I grabbed it and placed it in my cart. Upon arrival, I quickly put it to work. Needless to say, it worked flawlessly and I can retire my old ratchet.

Exceptional Ratchet. I have an older 1/2 drive ratchet from Husky and I was not impressed. They must have done some R&D because this is a high quality product. Being a 144 tooth ratchet, you can use this in a very tight space. The ratchet mechanism is extremely smooth. This is a very high quality tool with a nice highly polished chrome finish that will compliment any tool collection.

Beautiful finish and the lower profile head are a huge plus. The chrome finish is outstanding on this model. I know some will think I am crazy but a really nice finish is a must for me. This brand is incredibly strong and holds up very well. The lifetime warrants just adds to the overall excellence. 144 tooth is just incredible! I like I can get int9 tight spaces with the ratchet!

This 3/8 ratchet is really nice and at the right price. It has a nice length to it. The working length is just a little bit longer than my Tekton 3/8 ratchet; maybe by 1/2 inch. It is serviceable unlike the Craftsman 120 tooth ratchets by Black and Stanley. The thing that surprised me the most is how smooth the ratchet operates. It has VERY little back drag and that’s before it’s “broken in”. The switch to reverse direction operates smoothly. Of course, it also has the lifetime warranty which is great. I highly recommend this ratchet.

The Husky 3/8 in. Drive 144-Tooth Pro Ratchet and the Husky 1/2 in. Drive 144-Tooth Pro Ratchet Drive 144-Tooth Pro Ratchet are the newest additions to my toolbox. Any craftsman will tell you buy a quality tool and it will last you a lifetime and I know that to be true I have wrenches and ratchets that have been with me throughout working life and into my retirement. The Husky name brand is a newcomer for me but so far I have been pleased with their products. The ratchets have a good weight and finish very comparable to some of their higher priced competition. Only time will tell if they are as good as they look and they do look good.

The ratchet mechanism is very smooth! I love using this tool in tight places, where you can ratchet back on smaller variations than a standard socket wrench. The tool also has a nice release button, to lock in your sockets so they don’t slip as well as wear out the ball latch. The wrench has a longer handle so you can get a little more torque when using.
