The Husky Full-Polish 144-tooth Ratchet Set is made of alloy steel to provide excellent durability. The Set includes a 1/4 in. drive ratchet, 3/8 in. drive ratchet and a 1/2 in. drive ratchet. These Pro Access Ratchets have industry leading 2.5 arc swing, turning a fastener in less than 3/4 in. of space. The finish provides resistance to corrosion. The ratchets have a teardrop-style head with a low profile to allow for excellent access to nuts and bolts in tight locations.

This is a 3 piece set of socket ratchet handles of the size 3/8″ , 1/4″ and 1/2″. This covers the bulk of socket sizes normally used. These 3 size socket handles all have a fine ratchet mechanism which makes it easy to use in tight spaces, then all also have the locking knob which helps hold the socket onto the handle. To remove the socket you simply press the back of the handle to release the socket. Real easy to use. What I like specifically about the 1/2″ handle is that the handle seems extra long giving you lots of mechanical advantage to get those tough bolts apart. These are a high quality strong set of handles which you can use for your entire socket collection. They really should last a real long time even in hard work environments.

Excellent ratchet set for working in tight spaces. With minimal clearance needed to activate the ratchet mechanism, these are a must. Husband is his own mechanic and has made repairs on our 10-year old and 16-year old vehicles to keep them in excellent running condition. He loves this ratchet set! These feel very solid, nice weight, clean finish, smooth action. He has had NO issues with their performance thus far.

This ratchet set includes quarter inch, three eighth inch and half inch ratchets that have a bright chrome finish. The handles of each have a sculpted design that fits the hand well and are free of any sharp edges. Each ratchet has the standard clockwise, anti-clockwise and locked positions. Sockets are firmly gripped and can be released by pressing the button on the opposite side of the wrench from the socket.

That 144 tooth marking on the head means you can use in this in super tight areas without a lot of room to swing the wrench. Very handy, but I do have a microscopic concern that the super fine gearing will not hold up to heavy duty use. But, hey, they come with the Husky lifetime warranty so I don’t think I’ll lose sleep over that.One thing to note is these drives are very heavy. Not I-need-two-hands-to-lift-it heavy, but noticeably more than other ratchets I’ve used. Might be a bit of a concern if you’re doing a lot of overhead work.

I received my Husky 3-piece ratchet set today; It comes in a nice sturdy, precision cut out foam tray that holds the ratchets firmly and will not slide around in your toolbox.These ratchets have a 144-position ratchet technology, which makes them an extremely fine-tooth 2.5-degree swing, which allows you to work in tight spaces. They have a quick-release button to remove the sockets, which is a must-have when your hands are greasy. These highly polished chrome ratchets are now my go-to ratchets, they have the smoothest action of any of my other ratchets, and I own almost all the brands available.Overall with the Lifetime warranty and all the features you could ever want in a ratchet, including a reasonable price, you can’t go wrong with these new model Husky ratchets.

I typically don’t go through ratchets like I do other hand tools, but I am always looking to improve on the tools that I have – improvement being comfort and features. This 3 piece set by Husky perfectly accomplishes this with the comfortable handle on each of the 3 ratchet sizes and with the 144 tooth gear that allows the slightest swing to advance the ratchet. This is where I have difficulty; the 1/2″ drive with large deep sockets in confined areas. Most of my ratchets can’t advance enough past torquing but the Husky 144 tooth easily advances in much less space than my big name mechanics ratchet.I also appreciate the smooth polished chrome and the easy socket release. Everything about these ratchets is great then it comes with a cool foam cut storage that easily fits most tool cabinet drawers.I couldn’t ask for more!

I thought I already had my “last” ratchet set until I got this one. Husky took a great product and made it even better. Making these new ratchets with a 144 tooth technology makes them better than they have ever been. The ratchet with grip and turn with a minimum of a 2-1/2 degree twist. This eliminates even more of the knuckle busting in tight places and allows me to work in even tighter spaces than before. The ratchets have a strong polished chrome finish for durability and the Husky Lifetime Guarantee. I recommend this set whether you are adding to your tool set or just starting out. It will be the only ratchet set I will ever need.

I use box truck tools at the shop I work at and have grown use to that quality. Therefore I wanted to up my ratchet game at home, but didn’t want to pay the commercial prices for the home tool set. I did want want a smooth action, button release and reversible switch. These pro-ratchets deliver and are defiantly way better than the old craftsman units they replaced. I do wish they made more variations of the Pro-Ratchets such as shorter handles, adjustable heads etc. I like the 144 teeth action and low profile heads, but do not like how long the handles are. You don’t need that much leverage in a hand ratchet in MHO and it only gets in the way working in tight spots.Note: be careful opening the package, the included foam is nice.Use: home mechanicFrequency: nearly daily
