I’ve looked at several kits to take on the go and to have around the house since all my tools are at a shop and it’s a pain to go get them everytime I need to work on something that is isn’t there. This kit has the best selection by far for the money and is still easily portable. I left the foam in the case so I haven’t experienced the tools moving around much, no worse than my original plan of piecing together a kit and carrying it around in a bag. Also the 6 point sockets are a big plus, a lot of kits and individually sold socket sets are 12 point. Overall I definitely think this kit is the best one for the money

Tools are heavy duty. Ratcheted are sweet!! Love both 6 point and12 point sockets. Only problem would be with the case. If you carry it by the handle the small sockets will fall from the holders. So I fixed it by carrying it flat. I see other people who sent it back because the case.. not me… all the tools are well worth the effort!!!

Well, as I said in the title. I just purchased this tool set today (2/15/20) at my local home depot for $79.00 plus tax. And yes, it was brand new, never opened, never purchased/returned and no damage. The regular price was $149.00 plus tax. I’ve been looking at mechanics tool sets from different manufactures for the past week or so, and I had narrowed it down to knowing that I wanted to go with husky – largely because of their warranty, plus the tools are of very good quality. I went to the store thinking I was going to buy their 268 piece kit, however, it was not on sale and the normal price is $229.00 – way too much. Not to mention, that kit weighs a ton and is much bulkier! As I was looking at the other sets, I saw this one and had to do a double take on the price, but yes, that is how it rung up, $79.00! It is a fairly comprehensive set with sockets and wrenches, and at the price I paid there is no way you could go wrong. It’s also worth mentioning that nothing was out of place when I got the set home and opened the cover, and I did carry it by the handle and also flipped it over on my kitchen counter before opening it for the first time. The only issue I discovered is that the 1/2 wrachet needs to be tapped a couple of times for the quick release button to return back after you press it in and place a socket on the wrench. That may resolve over time, but it’s not a big deal to give it a couple of taps and have the button click back and the socket to lock in place. Perhaps I’ll exchange that one wrench at some point if it becomes annoying or gets worse, but overall, I’m very happy so far.
