Husky 1/2 in. drive impact bit sockets are forged from chrome molybdenum alloy steel (Cr-Mo) and designed to withstand rigors of heavy-duty auto and industrial use. Size markings have been laser etched and hard stamped into the sockets for quick and easy identification that will never wear away. Husky impact bit sockets are designed to withstand high torque and impact forces commonly associated with impact power tools.
- Set includes 1/2 in. drive impact bit sockets: SAE – 3/8 in., 7/16 in., 1/2 in., 9/16 in., 5/8 in., 11/16 in., 3/4 in. metric – 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 mm Torx – T40, T45, T47, T50, T55, T60 and T70
- Designed for use with impact drive tools
- Industrial 2-piece design allows the bit to be easily removed and replaced if ever damaged
- Oiled, black oxide finish for maximum corrosion resistance
- Pin hole at the base of each socket for use with a locking pin for secure attachment to drive tools

Husky tools have always seemed to be good quality. I am not a professional, but do quite a bit of DIY/ mechanical work. So, moderate usage. Better than off brands and allowed me to put significant torque without any slippage. Would recommend.

These sockets look to be well made . I’ve only used the 5/8 size so far and it worked well . The set screw that holds the bit in place worked loose while I was using it . I tightened the screw and it was fine after that . I would recommend keeping an eye on the set screws especially the first few times the sockets are used . I like that you can flip the bits over or change the bit if damaged . I mean Home Depot would most likely replace it if damaged , but the option of being able to do it might get the job done NOW . I imagine you could also remove the allen bit in a pinch and use them as a 6 point socket .

Wanted to update my socket set and this was a good value at this price point. It is a sturdy yet economical set. I use it only for home use and working on my cars which these sockets performed well. I only wish that it was a double set with metric sockets as well. But if you are looking for a quality affordable socket set for home use then this is one to consider.
