The Husky 1/2 inch drive socket set is built tough and is a very good value. It has 20 sockets in SAE and MM sizes and a 3 inch extension and a 1/2 inch ratchet that is built tough. It is really easy to put the sockets on the ratchet with the push button release and the direction of the ratchet is a lever that is very easy to do with the lever on the back of the ratchet head. The sockets are heavy duty and will not strip out. I’d definitely recommend the Husky 1/2″ 22 piece socket set.

I wanted to put together a tool set to carry in my truck so i would have tools handy and ready to go if the need ever happened. This basic set fits the bill very nicely. It has great fit and finish, is very well built and the English and Metric sockets cover the most common sizes. A 1-2 inch drive is more than adequate for most ordinary projects and anything larger would probably be over kill. The 3″ extension is a must have, and is included in the set. The fact that this set is guaranteed forever is a super bonus.
