This tool is rarely needed but when it is available for the job at hand you will appreciate it. Saves you from putting all the extensions in a daisy chain. The ball detent works well and the finish is flawless. I used Husky tools at work before I retired and never had one fail on me. Tools were supplied by the employer and they chose Husky. Sometimes you just need the really long extension and this is it.

This extension is solid. I mean solid. I think your socket will fail before it twists. It has a tight connection on both ends, for a secure connection. It’s a nice, long extension bar for a 1/2 inch set. I have had to use 2 sometimes 3 different extensions to get to this length, and then you run the risk of having 1 let loose and dropping the rest into the area you are working. The finish is smooth and doesn’t seem to want to flake off. you can put some power behind it and not worry about it twisting.
