Husky 1/2 in. drive impact bit sockets are forged from chrome molybdenum alloy steel (Cr-Mo) and designed to withstand rigors of heavy duty auto and industrial use. Size markings have been laser etched and hard stamped into the sockets for quick and easy identification that will never wear away. Husky impact bit sockets are designed to withstand high torque and impact forces commonly associated with impact power tools.
- Set includes (7) 1/2 in. drive impact bit sockets: SAE – 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4 in
- Designed for use with impact drive tools
- Industrial 2-Piece design allows the hex bit to be easily removed and replaced if ever damaged

used the 3/8″, 1/2″ drive hex bit socket for 4 hours strait, taking off covers. The bit constantly came loose, had to keep and allen wrench in my pocket to keep re-tightening the set screw. Very irritating to have to do it every 2 bolts. Gonna get it welded on.

These sockets look to be well made . I’ve only used the 5/8 size so far and it worked well . The set screw that holds the bit in place worked loose while I was using it . I tightened the screw and it was fine after that . I would recommend keeping an eye on the set screws especially the first few times the sockets are used . I like that you can flip the bits over or change the bit if damaged . I mean Home Depot would most likely replace it if damaged , but the option of being able to do it might get the job done NOW . I imagine you could also remove the allen bit in a pinch and use them as a 6 point socket .
