The Husky 1/2 in. Drive SAE, Metric and Torx Bit Socket Set (9-Piece) contains larger size hex and Torx bit socket to help complete heavy duty projects. Each of the bits are heat treated and set into a CR-V steel base to hold up to even the most demanding jobs. Bit sockets give you the advantage of accessing fasteners with the reach and tight arc swing of a ratchet that standard folding or L-keys just can’t match.
- Set includes nine 1/2 in. drive bit sockets, SAE – 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 in., metric – 14, 17, 19 mm, torx – T55, T60, T70
- For use with 1/2 in. drive tools

Husky 1/2 in. Drive SAE and Metric Socket Set (52-Piece) is a great set of sockets. My tool box began to fill with Husky tools a number of years ago and have found them to be of excellent quality. These sockets do a great job of holding the bolt heads and not rounding it off. Sometimes the 6pt is best, other times the 12pt. You have a large selection of both. The large markings are easy to read. Highly polished easy to wipe clean. Snaps securely to my ratchets. Lifetime warranty except for loss. This is a must have set. The Husky 1/2 in. Drive Torx and Hex Bit Socket Set (9-Piece) is a heavy duty set of sockets. There are places that only a tool like this will work and with a 1/2 in drive they are heavy and rugged enough to withstand significant abuse. The sockets are nicely machined with no burrs. They snap easily but securely onto my 1/2 in ratchet, power arm and extensions. The plastic strip that they came on is surprisingly sturdy and can be drilled and mounted on my shop tool board.

I love the tools. Very good quality. The shipping time was way too long. Also all the shallow well sockets are supposed to be 6 point and the deep well 12 point. I got one shallow well in a 12. It’s like one red light in a string of white lights. It just bugs me

Excellent 1/2 inch drive addition for your socket set. It is suited for the heavy work. The sizes cover your basics i.e. Hex SAE; 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4. Hex MM; 14, 17, and 19mm. The Torx; T55, T60 and T70 which gives you 9 sockets. Although they are polished to look good they are built to last. The set contains a nylon rail to mount the sockets on. I am very happy with this socket set. I’m not a mechanic or anything, but I seem to always have something that needs a nut taken off, or a bolt that is bent, and I never seem to have the right size socket. Then I end up having to either just use an open-ended wrench or go borrow a tool from my neighbor. These sockets are so well-made. All fit right onto my ratchet just perfectly. And I really love having the deep sockets. So handy for many things.

Sometimes site images aren’t always completely reflective of the product so just a note. These are indeed just sockets as indicated and no storage case of anything to place them in. They were delivered in a box large enough for the socket set. Inside are four clear plastic packages of sockets. The sockets themselves are of good quality as would be expected of any socket set. Two packages are SAE one deep socket and shallow. Two packages are metric deep and shallow. The sockets are 6 and 12 point. The markings on them are fairly large but not as readable and some sets. It is a nice set if you need sockets for bigger jobs. Overall a nice set with good variety.

I needed a couple sizes of the metric hex bit sockets for my repair needs but was able to buy the set for the same amount. They are well made, have a close tolerance fit to minimze rounding and work as expected. I have used a couple of the SAE sizes also and they performed well.

I received my 1/2-inch drive SAE and Metric 52-piece socket set today,this set is a reasonably complete set of 1/2 inch drive short and deep SAE and Metric sockets.They are as follows; Deep SAE goes from 7/16″ to 1 1/8″; Short SAE goes from 7/16″ to 11/4″.The Deep Metric goes from 10 mm to 24 mm minus a 13 mm, which is left out of the deep metric set for some reason.The Short Metric goes from 13 mm to 32 mm. The Metric sockets are 12 points, and the SAE set are 6-point sockets.Overall this is a highly polished lifetime guaranteed set of sockets.

This is a perfectly adequate set that will likely provide decades of service.What I like:• Solid construction. Very durable when I tested them.• The ‘right’ sizes are included for these types of heavy duty applications.• I like that they included a storage rail to keep the sockets from rolling around in your tool drawers.• Lifetime warranty is an added bonus.• Price is fair.What I don’t like:• That same plastic rail above is cheap and the sockets fall off of them rather easily.Note:• Make sure you have a ½ Ratchet. Not everyone has one laying around. That is needed to use sockets and to achieve the needed torque to turn these.This is a nice set. I found no real issues and I recommend.
