The Husky 1/2 in. Drive SAE, Metric and Torx Bit Socket Set (9-Piece) contains larger size hex and Torx bit socket to help complete heavy duty projects. Each of the bits are heat treated and set into a CR-V steel base to hold up to even the most demanding jobs. Bit sockets give you the advantage of accessing fasteners with the reach and tight arc swing of a ratchet that standard folding or L-keys just can’t match.
- Set includes nine 1/2 in. drive bit sockets, SAE – 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 in., metric – 14, 17, 19 mm, torx – T55, T60, T70
- For use with 1/2 in. drive tools
- Cold formed chromium-vanadium (Cr-V) steel socket base and heat treated S2 tool steel bits for outstanding durability and strength
- Large hard stamped size markings for easy identification
- Bit sockets attach to 1/2 in. drive tools, such as a ratchet or breaker bar, providing a longer handle and more leverage than standard keys
- Chrome finish provides corrosion resistance and added durability

This set of 1/2 inch drive TORX and HEX sockets are made for the BIG jobs where that 1/2 drive wrench or breaker bar is needed. This is not something that you use every day, but when you need then they are not easy to find in these sizes. Each drive is well made and up to the task that these sizes require. While I have only used one so far it really held up to very hard use whit no problems. I am happy to have them for the time I will need them.Ron Norman

I needed to remove a fill plug on a Jeep front differential with tight clearances and these bits did the trick! Home Depot was the only store that had them in stock and at a good price. This bit set is a good quality plus good value in fact I plan on purchasing two more sets for my boys!

This is a nice set of sockets in a very good range of sizes and in both metric and standard SAE. The drive is 1/2 inch and the wall thickness of each socket looks to be average so they should last a good while. The sockets are all marked with the Husky brand and the size in larger numbers so that it is easier to read and find when you need one. Recommended.

This set comes with 12 Metric – 12 Point Deep Sockets, sizes 10 mm – 24 mm, 14 Metric 6 Point Shallow Sockets, Sizes 13 mm – 32 mm, 12 SAE 12 Point Deep Sockets, Sizes 7/16 – 1 1/8, and 14 SAE Shallow Sockets, Sizes 7/16 – 1 1/4. T55 socket worked without rounding bolt head or socket. Below Excellent b/c I needed one bit from the set. 1/2 drive T55 wasn’t avail as a single bit only in 3/8. Soaking 5in bolts with PB Blaster for hours then using a breaker bar I smiled thinking how well the 3/8 would have held up. Wise choice.
