Instead of making do with screwdrivers to pry up the plastic push pins which secure many automotive shrouds, using one or the other of the pliers in this set (depending upon the angle needed to access the push pin in question) will not only speed up the removal process, but will minimize any damage to the push pins (especially important for older, brittle ones), allowing their reuse. The wedge-shaped tips (differing only in the access angle – 30 degrees or 80 degrees) will easily get under the flange of the push pin center, raising it up and (with continued, moderate pressure on the pliers) will lift the pin out of it’s opening freeing up the panel or shroud for removal. The spring-loaded, comfort grips will allow for a sure grip without tiring one’s hands. The tools appear to be solidly made and are backed by a lifetime warranty. When used to remove the push pins on a 10 ½ year old vehicle, the pliers easily removed them with no damage and the pins were able to be reused. So much easier than prying up the pins with screwdrivers! If you work on any vehicles with this type of fastener, these pliers are a great addition to the tool box.

Another Husky quality tool and a specialty one as well. Husky tools of today (and sold at HD) have greatly improved since I was a kid. They used to be a second tier tool sold out of hardware stores. Today they are clearly a top tier tool which can be noted by the chroming of their hand tools, the quality of their handles and their designs. They are now up there with the likes Snap-On but available at your home store and at REALLY REASONABLE prices at HD.While this particular tool is Note something the average person would use every day Having the right tool at the right time is invaluable..

The “Husky Push Pin Pliers Set (2-Piece)” are excellent tools. These set of pliers are exceptionally designed, balanced, and built with quality materials. They are a “must have” in your tool box, even if you don’t have to use them every day, when you do, they will save you time and money. These pliers were delivered to me, just on time for the installation of my new dishwasher, great help for installing clamps in small spaces.I really like these pliers and I recommend them.

These are high quality “push-pin pliers” that also “feel right” in your hands.Unlike others that are somewhat flimsy in their construction, these are made of a relatively thick metal with virtually no “flex” in order to better grasp and hold onto the pins or rings that you are working on.They pack two to a card with two “universally” accepted working “angles” that should meet the needs of most users. Most others I have used or seen have “pinchers” parallel to their shafts and can restrict access or make them difficult to grasp, hold, or twist. These are a well thought out product.

This is a 2-piece push pin plier set. I found this set to be a good quality and met my overall expectations. These tools are critical in several situations but especially in removing bumpers, core support shrouds, and other vehicle components in several common cars/trucks that have anchors. Tools like this allow you to remove plastic anchors without damaging the pins and the anchor itself. Yes a flat head screwdriver will often work, however it can be slower the chances of breaking the pins/anchor is much greater. My observations of this set:• This set includes 30 and 80 degree offset pliers.• These have tapered ends which is good for access.• The grip of the tool is good with or without gloves.• The spring mechanism has the right amount of tension. • When using this I was easily able to remove several plastic anchors on my truck without damaging any of them. It’s an easy tool to use. Very simple with good outcomes when used correctly. It’s a good tool with a specific use, however it’s a must if you ever work on vehicles personally or professionally. I recommend.

Push pins on vehicle bodies are always a pain to deal with. They can eat up a lot of time. These pliers are a time saver and help save your skin and your hands. This set has two different pliers at different angles. That is very helpful when working are car body parts. Push pins look simple but can be very difficult to remove and install. This plier set is a welcome addition to my tool box.

If I had a nickle for every time I used a screw driver or a side cutter to remove a push pin, I’d be a millionaire. These are a great addition to my tool box. This spring I’ll be doing some automotive work and these pliers will sure make the job easier. If I knew how to upload a video you’d see how easy these are to use. They also work pretty good on some CV boot retainers. But no one that does any body panel work should be without these.

Husky push pin pliers work just as good as some tool truck brands push pin pliers. I’ve used these on my wife’s car when removing her inner fender liner to replace her washer jug. I used a clip tool at first but some of them had dirt, sand, and whatever else she picked up the pliers got them out with with little effort. Also tested them on my Silverado’s inner fender liners and they did great. If you needing a set of push pin pliers then these are a nice set.

These are kind if a specialty tool, but they can be used for several things. They come as a set with 30 degree and 80 degree jaws. Most typically they are used to insert extract pins of various types. They can reach around objects to push a pin in or out (hitch pin, cotter pin, R-pin or spring cotter pin). The can slo be used to hold objects still (like when soldering). This set has nicely insulated/padded handles (my previous pin pliers had well rusted steel handles) these are big step up, much easier to work with. They are spring loaded, which provides better leverage when using them. They can also be used when removing plastic/nylon auto push pins used to hold door panels and the like on (hold the pin closed and extract). These are a nice weight, very well made, they should last forever. Recommended.

Over my many years of working on, and installing new “STUFF” in automobiles, I have needed to remove every plastic panel that the Manufacturers ode to build a car many times to gain access to the areas behind those panels to install, back-up cameras, stereos, and all kinds of aftermarket items that are made, and to troubleshoot original Factory equipment. I am a person that takes a lot of pride in my work and try real hard to not break anything while working on it, but I must admit that by even using the best tools that I had, I have damaged a lot of “plastic pin type fasteners”, and then a lot of times it took awhile to find a replacement, so do yourself a favor and buy this Husky 2piece “Push pin” pliers set before the next panel removal job. I gave this tool set a Excellent rating, not because they are are the shiniest tool in my toolbox, but l think they will do the “Job” just as well and I saved a some money and I don’t need the “shine”.
