The Husky 3/4 IN. drive socket set is a must have item. I do 99%of my own work. I help a farmer in the spring and fall. I had this in the pickup and was able to fix the ripper with ease and not have to run all over looking for tools. the whole set is very durable and clean. I like the sizes of the sockets. The breaker bar is very strong and the extentions are of very useable lengths. This socket set will always be with me for many years.

This is a very nice set from Husky.The tools are quality made with additional features such as: easy to read sockets; quick release ratchet; knurled ratchet handle for better grip; and handy carrying case.The ratchet also comes with a knurled wheel to allow spinning of loose fasteners without having to remove the socket.A 3/4 drive is essential for larger projects such as RV’s, large trucks, farm equipment, and for the industrial mechanic.

This socket set is was not designed for the beginner, but for the person who knows what they are doing and needs a big tool to do it. This set is great for construction work, cars and trucks repair. This set is designed to last the owner a lifetime as every socket look solid and weighs about 1 pound. The travel case is also a good quality and designed to carry heavy tools. I have no problem recommend this set.

This ratchet/socket set is for serious heavy work. The set weighs over 24 lbs and the ratchet weighs over 5 pounds alone. The ratchet has a definite loud click when reversing, there’s no mistaking it. The ratchet has a push button release that pushes the socket off the head while it releases the detent ball pressure. The breaker bar (aka F-handle) does not. Each tool has a label in the case to make it easy to return it to the correct place. Each wrench is 18.5″ long from the end of the handle to the middle of the socket drive. I would have preferred the F-handle to be longer. At that length and using the largest socket, you have only about an18.5:1 mechanical advantage. There would certainly be enough room in the case for a 23″ wrench.There is a disclaimer printed on the inside of the case stating that this set s not to be used with impact equipment,The hinges in the case are plastic but are the type with a fixed pin, so they won’t wear out quickly as do the flex-type hinges. The four latches are somewhat difficult to fully latch and you may be fooled into thinking they are latched when they are not,Both drives can be disassembled fairly easily, one with a c-clip remover and the other with an Allen wrench. Then the internal parts can be cleaned or replaced.I used the set while working on a piece of heavy equipment and had no issues except for the short F-handle.

Cost-cutting strikes again. The new versions of this set include a breaker bar WITHOUT a detent to keep the head at 90°. This is a simple feature included in pretty much every other brand’s bars. I had an older version that I needed to warranty exchange. At the store, they had both newer sets plus a couple that had been on the shelf for years. I picked a new one, only to discover the breaker bar will just flop around with a socket mounted. No detent, just a useless spring on the pivot. I then looked at one of the older sets and it still had the detent setup (visible in photo)–so that’s what I came home with.Otherwise, this is a solid 3/4″ socket set at a very favorable price for what you’re getting. Same thing as the Crescent sets selling for $100 more. Not quite top-tier quality (and as a previous review said the handles are a little short) but then again it’s not a $500-800 set. This would be a 4-star recommended review if not for the fact the bean counters removed a spring and the ball to save 10 cents as your expense. If they reintroduce that feature, or you can find a old-style set on the shelf, I have no reservations about recommending this for all but the most brutal use.
